Teething

Any other mothers awake right now with the little one crying? This was heart breaking! My LO woke up crying with no reason and nothing would work. I tired feeding Her and putting a cold toy in her mouth, nothing worked until the numbing liquid worked, and still she was in pain. Finally got her to sleep, Now she's waking up again!

What have you done to help your LO cope with teething?

Yes it is, it's the only thing you can't fix as a mother, you have no controls and your LO is crying. Hopefully her tooth will come in soon

I've heard that Ashton and Parsons infant teething powders are brilliant, a bit like gold dust and can only be found on-line as they sell out so quickly! We had a couple of horror nights early this week where the only way we got back to sleep was bringing LO into bed with me...I HATE bed sharing with anyone, but I hate no sleep more!
Teething didn't even cross my mind as a reason until I looked yesterday and realised Emily has her first tooth!

Haha that's when I recommended the velcro method! Perhaps we could fashion a teether out of velcro too..

OP I've always been a fan of Hylands teething tablets. I should probably stock up because I just felt the beginnings of a tooth yesterday! Here we go!

Another thing to consider. The act of sucking helps with teething pain. Nursing, pacifier, fingers, it all counts. I have been known to try to message around the ears some since it is said to help with teething pain, ether way it helps calm LO down (even if it just the fact she is getting a message).
