@SusieBW Has he ever tried Bethamethasone Valerate Cream (USP, 1%)? I have eczema and when I have an outbreak I use that and it clears up in 2-3 days.

Also, I am sure that this sucks especially right now since you are already limited on the stuff you can eat just by being pregnant alone. Is this nightshade something you can sprinkle on top of your meal?

@SusieBW That has to be extremely hard to do. I don't know how I would avoid tomatoes and peppers. I love texmex. Is he going to try experimenting to narrow it down? Or just avoid all of it completley?

Pregnancy brain is at an all time high right now and it's driving me crazy. Yesterday I had a major breakdown because I lost a phone number I had written down and put in a "safe place" where I would easily find it but when I looked for the paper, it wasn't there. I feel like my brain has turned to mush and I can't stop losing or forgetting things.

I think so. I know he's had a few different steroid creams over the years, and betamethasone sounds familiar. The only thing that has ever really cleared it up was a cycle of prednisone, and when it gets completely unbearable, he does that, but prednisone has so many other awful side effects, he really hates to do it and tries to avoid it as much as he can.

@persephonerose - he's trying to cut out all of it and be super strict about it for a while, and if it really works, then he'll slowly start experimenting with introducing stuff back in. Even tobacco is a nightshade, so he's quitting smoking cigars, too. He's not an all-the-time cigar smoker anyway, but probably once a week or so in the summer, and he's bummed about not having that.

It's only been a week, so it remains to be seen if this is really a cure (he previously tried cutting out caffeine, and that worked for two or three weeks and then all of a sudden it came back out of no where). So we'll see.

We are selling our house, and building a new one. Our house has been on the market for about a month now. Tomorrow we have a couple looking at it for the 2nd time to make their final decision and then another showing right after it. I am hoping and praying this is the weekend we get an offer. Do you know how hard it is to keep a 2,000 sq ft house spotless every single day of your life with a 3 year old?!?! So completely over it... Thankfully it will all be worth it in the end ;;)

This happens all the time. They stand there just staring at their phones or watches. Look at the sign, look at their phone again and then make a hand visor to try and look real close through the doors to see if we're in there. Sometimes a crowd gathers. It's pretty funny.

I had a dream last night that my mom was at the hospital when I had my daughter. For some reason she got to name her... Gwendolyn Jen! (We are 100% decided on Madison Rose) I don't even know any Gwendolyn's... But my FN is Jennifer. Where the hell did that name come from? And she got these really ugly birth announcements made with doves and a scary looking Jesus!?!? WTF? Some women are having awesome sex dreams... Nope not me.

Speaking of people being outside of a store before opening, I worked for a moving company a couple years ago and they had overnight drop offs. 'Overnight' meaning any time between closing and opening. So you would park the truck you rented, put your paperwork and keys in the drop box and we would take care of the rest and send you the bill. Easy. So one time I get there at 7:30, when we opened at 8, and theres a family standing outside the gate with their truck. I go in, turn on the lights in the office and go out to see what was up. They start complaining at me that they had been there for an hour and a half and that I was late opening. Uhm. What? I pointed out the very clearly marked drop box, the very clear and detailed overnight drop off instructions in their paperwork and the office hours that were on the massive (at least 3ft by 2ft) sign next to the drop box. Then I told them that they could either wait until I opened or they could drop their stuff off and go home. They waited until I opened and then demanded to speak to a manager. Who said the same things I did. It was such a pain dealing with them.

Then I switched to retail which was even more fun!

I bought our travel system today! Thanks @Nicb13 for the suggestion, we ended up getting the chicco Nuevo system since Target had it on sale for such a killer deal (we paid about $215 after tax).

I wish I could sleep on the couch but it hurts my back too much blah. Doesn't help that I want to wake him up all the time because I'm trying to get him to roll over because he's snoring in my ear! DH is just stuck with me being a pain for the next few months lol

I'm also a boob snake. I have been using some heavy duty nipple cream at night and it seems to help. I thought I was a weirdo for already having nip issues before LO arrives.

@jlabbe1123 I feel your pain! I find that it helps to have a fan going so that I can sleep with a little white noise to drown out the hubster. Sometime between 4-5 I wake up with him in my ear and then the ear plugs go in. I feel bad for waking him up so much that I don't have the heart to nudge him after midnight.

We always have a fan going because if he gets hot he gets louder lol. I debated ear plugs last night or smothering him with a pillow because I was so tired! Normally if I can get him to roll over for like 15-20 mins & it's mostly quiet I can get to sleep but with how much I wake up to adjust or pee I need a good 10 mins to get back to sleep. Sadly my best sleep comes after he gets up for work at 5am. So I just want to sleep all day!

Isnt it nice?! Thats the seat we're going with.

I was a little put off by the price at first but SO's new hockey skates were more than that so he said that it wouldnt be fair if he bought an expensive item for himself and not the baby.
