@CTBride79 Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Her account hasn't been active since June 13 right after she announced that baby was IUGR and have absent end diastolic flow.

Hey ladies. I'm 29+3 today. I can't believe that I am 30 weeks on Monday. But with hitting 30 weeks I'm starting to get nervous as my problem time/milestone slowly approach. I had my 28 week appt last week and I'm measuring 2 weeks behind in fundal height. My OB says that this is fine but it still makes me nervous having had IUGR twins. I'm thinking about asking if I can get a couple growth scans to put my mind at ease. Do you think this is something I should push for if my OB says I don't need it or should I just let it go? My brain is just running a mile a min and every time I have back pain, or heartburn I freak out thinking its my liver again. DH thinks I should inquire about getting scans but shouldn't push it if he says I don't need it.
@megs2011 I was lucky enough that my MFM and OB were just as paranoid as I was and listened to all of my concerns. They never treated me like I was just going nuts. Having said that, I was angry/sad/every emotion under the sun when I didn't see either of them for 4 weeks between 28-32 weeks. This was when my cervix was basically non-existent (but closed). They felt that traveling to appointments (1 hour away) would only heighten my chances of having DD early. Even in the car ride during my SBR period, they wanted me to lay flat in the car.
So, I think you should at least bring it up to OB for additional scans. I hope that they listen to your concerns and do additional scans to ease your anxiety. Is your next appt at 32 weeks?
I am 12w4d today and the fatigue is starting to disappear, thank goodness. Not easy with an energetic 2 year old!
I have my Ob appointment and nt scan on Tuesday. Excited to hear the heartbeat and see baby! We are bringing dd to the u/s so she can see the baby. I'm anxious to feel baby move. I loved that so much last time.
