Hi ladies!

Good luck to those ladies cycling!!

((Hugs)) to everyone else who needs them!!

This check-in is open to anyone that is part of the SAIF community and is currently TTC again, either on their own, or via injectibles, IUI, IVF, adoption, etc.

A check-in will be posted every week. Please send me a PM or reply to the check-in post if you would like to be added to the group. Each check-in will provide the opportunity for you to provide an update as to where you currently are in your TTC.

QOTW: If you could have the perfect summer vacation what would you do?

TTC, without meds, hoping for a wonderful "surprise!"

Jessylane8- 6/25 CD 11 and hoping I don't O before CD23 because I will be OOT and away from DH.

mnj05 – 7/2 My HSG is tomorrow and I'm a little nervous but mostly ready to get it out of the way. That's the last thing we have to do other than save money.

DH's semen analysis came back exactly the same as two years ago. Being a cancer survivor and down one man, I was worried his numbers would've gone way down so I'm happy they're the same!

We have come up with a strict budget and should have all of our money saved by September so I'm hoping for birth control late August and stims in September.

TTC, with treatments

Bellalou – 6/18 Aiming for a fresh cycle on the house in October.

blueberries8 - 5/29 - FET #3 was a no-go because none of the embryos continued to develop after thawing I stopped my meds and now I am just waiting to get AF and on June 12 I meet with the RE to come up with a new plan.

Efhoping2010 -7/2 Waiting for July AF and planning to go to CCRM either by car or plane in mid July for ODWU pretesting there for IVF/ICSI #4.

emwaiting – 6/18We are currently off all meds and just seeing what will happen on our own. Praying for that little miracle to happen. You know be one of those that can say "it will happen when you quit trying!" ha I will be 6 wks tomorrow from my last period so that is frustrating that it won't come on it's own. If it isn't here in another week then they will do a blood test to make sure I'm not prego and then do the meds to start my period. Kinda hard to have that miracle without my period or ovulating. We had to do IVF to get our DS so we are thinking we will have to go down that road again so time to save $$ again!
fullfhope – 6/4 - I have my follow up with RE on 6/12.

jmorta04-7/2 I am new to this group, so can you please add me? Just had my consult with the RE on Monday and once all the paperwork and initial b/w is complete, I wait for AF to start (which should be next week) to start Estrace. Hoping for a FET with our one frobaby in August. ETA: QOTW: My mom, brother and his GF are coming to our house for a cook out. Weather is supposed to be terrible with the tropical storm but we will just hang in the house if the rain is that bad.

itsmevkb -6/25 The mock transfer and hysteroscopy were all normal so I'm on track to start estrace in late July and due a FET mid August.

Jenny935 – 7/7 I forget the exact number but it was 1600+. (late first beta, I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow) I was at 1100+ with DS at this point. I get to drop the Endometrin to 2x a day which I never got to do with DS. Maybe I will get to swim at some point! They are going to do one more beta Thursday and then hopefully u/s early next week..

kmc84 – 7/2 started Estradiol and Vivelle today. I'm hoping it's the weather to blame, but I've had a monster headache since this afternoon. I also noticed my pupils are huge and not really constructing at all....wth?!? Anyone else ever deal with that?

LauraBeth1401 – 7/2 I started my Delestrogen today. Hoping between that and lowering my Lupron tomorrow will help the headaches. It doesn't help I also have an allergy/sinus/cold/nasal thing. Overall though I'm doing pretty good.

luvboston – 6/25 Waiting 3 weeks for next dose of humira and hoping I am ovulating again I get tested Monday.

Mayzie15 – 6/25 I have my first official pregnancy in take appt tomorrow. I'm really nervous and know I'm going to be lectured on my age, genetic screenings and testing. I hate seeing the statistics of my age group. Last time the genetics counselor fought really hard for us to do the amino and we said no and are in that camp again. I'm hoping for another U/S and to get the heart rate this time.

mg0202 -6/18 I think my info got confused with someone else's. We recently met with the RE and are getting things ready for a FET hopefully in September.

Pam MG - 5/7 - DS IUI tomorrow, feeling really crampy tonight which I am going with is a good thing. We have 3 eggs this time unlike the only one last time.

Phishgirl29- 6/25 Planning for my FET cycle which will be in two months. I just have to get my period (any day now) and pass my salinesonogram. If I fail it I'm looking at a LAP.

trigirl79 - 6/4 - Beta was negative on Tuesday. We're taking a break in June, I'll do temps and OPKs but no meds. AF arrived yesterday, which is actually good news since hopefully it means my body is finally regulated.

ON A BREAK, hoping to get back in the game soon

MoFree – 6/25 I'm planning IVF #2 in September and will start meds sometime in August. Honestly I have very little expectation of success but feel I have to do another cycle before I can make peace with being OAD.

Cwhitaker27 - 3/12 - 25 weeks today. Had my GTT on Monday. I haven't heard anything back, so far no news is good news. Continuing to be team green!

Eve_Angelique – 6/25 Almost 31 weeks! Eeeeek! Little lady is doing lots of squirming in there. I am just praying that she doesn't come early!!they didn't get good enough pics of her spine, so I had another today, it was so good to see her squirming around in there!

Kdfecarie, EDD 8/29/14 (CS 8/22/14) 7/2- 32 weeks now, its getting closer and closer every day! nothing else to up date right now... Still waiting!

carrera317 – 4/30 - Wow. I guess I've been MIA for a while! 22 weeks here and doing ok. It's finally starting to settle into my infertile mind that I just might bring this baby home! Freak out time!!! All tests and our ultrasound have looked great. We went on a nice vacation to the Caribbean for our 10 year anniversary and now are starting to prep for this new one. It looks like I'm amongst good company with a due date of 9/2 but a probable c section the week before (just not the 29th cuz that's MY birthday!).

Kissies - 4/30 - So I'm 23 weeks now, went to ob this week and my b/p starting to elevate 130/90. I had her check my other arm and it was normal. The elevated arm is the arm I have carpal tunnel in and of course the 3 blood pressure checks made it act up! I got labs done as baseline and all looked good and urine was negative. Still on makena to prevent preterm labor (hate it makes me super emotional and cry like 24 hrs after taking it weekly). I'm afraid I'll be a nervous wreck come 28 weeks because that' when my water broke last time. Trying to stay calm and keep that blood pressure down ) I go back next week because of blood pressure.

LeoLauren - 1/15 - It's official. BFP x 2! Omg (what I'll be saying a lot for the next 7 months)!

Mnerani – 7/2 Next week starts the third tri for me. It's flying by unbelievably fast- probably because the move from Kenya to the U.S. has been so consuming. We are settling in though and I'm trying to take it easier than I have been. Feeling great, not overly pregnant, and even brave enough to sport a two piece during our daily trips to our neighborhood pool

Ironmom2be - 4/2 - My update is I'm in limbo between RE & OB. First OB appt isn't for another two weeks. Since I was still spotting last week, my RE offered to have me come in for another u/s, so that's next tuesday (9w) I'm feeling ok, seems like exercising is causing the spotting (my scientific study) so I'm trying to balance staying active enough that I don't feel like a slug and doing too much to cause spotting. I'm tired and nauseous (at times) so I'm just counting my blessings and hoping the 1st tri is over asap so my worries can hopefully fade a little

BabyKsMommy - EDD 11.27.14 - 4/16 - Well we have twins, both with a fetal pole. There also is an empty sac so we are going back on Friday to see how everything looks..

ccam - EDD 11.29.14 – 7/2 I'll be 19 weeks on Saturday. We have our A/S next Thurs - can't wait!!

Pennylane26 - EDD 11.26.14 – 7/2 Just over 18 weeks. Haven't gained any weight on the scale, so that's on my mind. My belly is big and I feel baby moving but still just about 125lbs as I was at transfer, been eating a lot of healthy fats and whole milk dairy, hopefully that makes a difference! BP is still great on meds and I'm feeling really good! A/S in 2 weeks.

srveatch – 6/18 I am 16 weeks today and feeling so much better! I had a check up yesterday and BP was a little high but I hadn't been taking my meds.. Bad move I know. I feel good though and am confident it will come down.
QOTW: I enjoy reading but don't seem to have the time. I love seeing what everyone else is reading so I can get ideas for when I do have time

mdiblasi10 – 7/2 I am 10 weeks tomorrow and had our weekly ultrasound today. Baby girl was moving all over the place and waving her tiny arms!!! It absolutely made my week. I am so in love already!!

Robeano-EDD 2/3/15 7/2 Had another ultrasound this week. Baby is looking good, strong heartbeat. Also my SCH has moved away from baby, big relief!

Update: Nothing new! A/S is on Tuesday 7/15. Can't wait to find out the sex! I am thinking girl, but I think that's just because that's all I know.

QOTW: I would love to vacation on the Cape where we got married (Wequassett Resort). They have minimum stay requirement during the summer and we just can't swing the expensive price tag! Maybe one day!

My HSG results came back normal! We are planning on doing blood work at the end of the month to check my progesterone level and start provera so I can go on BCPs with my period and start stims 2-3 weeks after that!

QOTW: I would absolutely love to take a European tour. I want to go to Italy, Spain, France, and Germany. I want to see architectural things as well as historic. I want to visit holocaust sites and museums. One day, I will go!

Update: pupil dialation and headaches were all from starting estrogen

thankfully it has gotten much better! I have a lining check next Tuesday.

QOTW: I'd love a 2 week stay in a b&b in a coastal area like Cape Cod, Martha's Vinyard...... Lots of exploring with the babe and little shops and restaurants

(and the budget to do that right now-lol!)

Update: A/S scheduled for Wednesday 7/16. I am excited to find out the sex of the baby. I keep thinking maybe it's a boy but who knows? QOTW: I want nothing more than to spend the week at the beach with cocktail in hand... I am saving vacation time for maternity leave so that will have to wait until next summer.

FF says I am 3dpo but I think I am 4dpo (I am missing temps). Not such a deal other than I want to know how long my LP is because it was only 8 days the last 2 cycles. I will probably test if I get to 10dpo.

QOTW: I just want to lay on the beach somewhere with a cocktail alone.

I have my calendar after starting AF this past Sunday. I am taking Estrace 2x a day, increase to 3x on the 18th and go in for my first u/s to check my lining on the 19th. Transfer is tentatively scheduled for the 24th depending on how things look at the u/s. I have a raging headache (I'm assuming from the Estrace?), but other than that I'm just excited about all this!

QOTW: Right now I'd love to head back down to OBX and take L to the beach. We haven't been down since our HM three years ago and I'm definitely missing it after spending so many summers down there.

I am still KU but things aren't going well my last HCG didn't double in fact it had a time of six days. Because of all the weeks I could be pg this week I am working 8-5:30 an hour away from my OB and any hospital associated with her so I can't go in for an ultrasound. So tomorrow night I have to go to triage and beg to have an ultrasound. Not to mention my very important immune bloodwork got damaged in transit and I had to re ship but I prob should have had IVIG last weekend:( I am not hopefull.

Q: I want to be on a beach a very warm one anywhere with a piña colada in my hand and not move for 7 days except to adjust my umbrella.

Things are still going good. I'm tired all the time, wondering if I have low iron like I did last time, just did my initial blood work yesterday, looking to get the information back. I have my last RE appointment next week, I'm a little sad b/c it will be goodbye forever. We only ever wanted two children and this is it. Also, my best friend is pregnant and due two weeks after me, I'm really excited!!

QOTW: I want to go to Great Britain for like two months, just visiting everywhere. I would just love it!!

QOTW: We just spent 5 days at the beach last week and it was great. It would have been even better if I could have enjoyed cocktails with the rest of my family, maybe next year! As long as there is a beach and good food, I am all set!

I am starting BCPs in August and hoping ET is around 6 weeks later.

QOTD: DH and I took a few dream vacations before having a child, honeymoon in Italy, a bike trip through the Czech Republic and Austria and a week in Provence.
In my dream world I would love to rent a villa with a pool in Provence, bring a live in nanny so we could do some adult sightseeing and fine dining and enjoy the beach, farmers markets and other sights with LO.
We are renting a beach condo in Delaware in August. It may not be our dream vacation but something I am very much looking forward to.

Update: I'm struggling with this pregnancy. I'm extremely tired and anemic and taking iron pills. I have some morning sickness but not a lot like last time. I still very uneasy about this pregnancy being successful and I hate that I feel this way. I have genetics discussions and tests on Monday - which scares me more. Sorry to be a downer - on a high note today is my last day for endometriin and I'm happy about that!

ETA QOTW We went on a 12 night Mediterranean cruise for our honeymoon - I would go again in a heartbeat!

Big hugs to all those ladies who are struggling.

AFM: I am 19 weeks with boy/girl twins. They are both doing great. I'm just now getting some energy back which is fantastic. My house could use some major attention. We had a little scare after my 2n tri blood work but everything looks good as of right now.

QOTW: we usually vacation in Hawaii for a week during the summer but this year it's not goin to happen. Hopefully next year.

I haven't been updating here because I feel like this is for those TTC and as of right now I'm PAIF so I've been posting all of my pregnancy related stuff on PAIF. I just want to be extra respectful of those who are struggling with IF right now.

I personally like the updates in this thread. I love seeing/hearing how far you are and what experiences you're having this time around. If this IVF works for us late summer, I know I won't really be posting on PAIF much. Partly due to school starting back up and I won't have time, but partly because I'm not in the same place as most of the women over there. It won't be my first pregnancy or child, I don't anticipate many questions from myself (although I know I could have a totally different pregnancy so it's quite possible), and I just feel more connected with this board now. Just my two cents, but I definitely respect everyone's opinion, no matter what that may be.

Update: saw a sac that they think looked ok a 1st yr resident looked and the machine was crappy, she didn't know how to so transvag yet (rolling eyes). My HCG was 12400 which is up from 7800 wed so an ok rise.
Monday I am seeing MFM for a full work up so hopefully we will have a heartbeat and some answers then. Fx thanks for all the support!

@Ducky719‌ , I hope this isn't snarky but it's much easier to read updates when you're a 'member of the club.'
I feel like the only one still struggling with IF and don't want anyone to stop posting about pregnancy because of one person.

I get this, I really do, and that's why I asked. I honestly loved hearing the pregnancy updates on this post even before this LO though. It's always felt different coming from ladies here than it was in real life. I realize everyone is different though. Just know that you're not alone, scroll up, there are other people struggling too. And many of us were there, too. Hugs to you!

@ccam I'm glad you posted the above and been thinking about it too. I don't want my updates to upset anyone here. I've been thinking of doing an intro on PG>35 which is where I think I fit best right now. I feel closer to you ladies and don't feel ready to move with all my uncertainty with this pregnancy but will do so if the ladies here want me to.

I haven't posted much on this board other than on this thread because of some negative responses to past posts about this pregnancy. It's too bad, but I respect other people's feelings. I guess I am kind of in the "where do I belong" camp.

PAIF is 99% first time moms so I don't post there, this board is a mix, but also has people struggling TTC #2, #3, etc.

I'm a little lost and feel like I have to be in hiding until this babe arrives or not mention this pregnancy at all.

When I was ttc#2 it was hard for me to read this check in. It took us a year to conceive this last time, 11 medicated cycles. If we would've done ivf it might have been less time but my husband isn't on board with ivf. I just want to be sensitive to those who are having a hard time.

I know I'm butting in. But, I can say that the main reason I asked to be taken off of the check-in after our last failed IVF cycle was because it is really hard to see all the successes when I am struggling with possibly just having to admit to being OAD not by choice. I really don't know where I belong. I don't really belong on secondary IF because it isn't anything new. Most people on IF don't really seem to understand this. Anyhow, when we were TTC #1 I ended up moving over to IFV because I had started feeling like I didn't even really belong on IF then. Like @MoFree, I don't feel like things should change just because of me. I know part of my problem is I am pretty bitter at the moment.

I'm not really ready to give up and say we are OAD. I'm not sure if doing IVF again makes sense. But, we may be willing to give it another go if/when we can save up the money for another cycle. Part of me feels like it doesn't really make sense given our abysmal results from the last two cycles. But, part of me really just isn't willing to give up yet. I have a second opinion consult scheduled for 8/29. Until then we will TTC on our own (even though I know there is pretty much no hope without assistance). I still try to read this check-in. But, there are definitely days when I just can't.

My meds are on order and my cycle started right on track so I'll be starting the FET process by the end of the month. The closer it actually comes the more I feel I really, really want another baby and that worries me. All along I've really been trying to keep my expectations down as I know the odds are against this actually working, but now all sorts of hope is sneaking in and I'm worried about not only being devastated if it doesn't work but devastated because this is our last shot.

My perfect vacation would either be a road trip to all sorts of silly places like Dinosaur Park and Wall Drug or a cruise, but not to somewhere beachy, more like Alaska.

I'm sorry with my choice of words I didn't intend it to be hurtful. People should post wherever and whatever they feel is appropriate. Whether it not someone posts weekly updates doesn't change the fact of being pregnant.
I am very happy for everyone who has conceived again. It does make me feel even more isolated though. I can't go to IVF because that would be insensitive to those struggling to conceive #1, our IF is not secondary. I am not yet ready to accept being OAD but several factors make me think that will be our situation.

@luvboston that seems like it might help. Will it be two separate posts? That way everyone can choose to read whichever they prefer. It makes me sad to hear others are hurting. We have all experienced IF though and that is what brings us together. We all support and encourage each other. I also don't post anything, except the check-in, here because I have noticed and "felt" some resentment in comments on others BFP posts. Honestly, that upsets me. Those are happy posts and should be celebrated when we've been through so much IF hell as it is. We all struggle in our own ways. Hugs to everyone. This is my home board and you ladies are my IF sisters.

I apologize for my role in making people feel left behind. I guess that while we were TTC #2 this was the only place I felt less bitter about further pregnancies so it didn't occur to me to think that others were feeling differently. I do enjoy hearing about people's progress here but totally understand that there isn't a safe place for people who are having longer struggles with #2.

@luvboston, I have absolutely no problem with pregnant ladies posting and providing support. I am truly happy for everyone. I'm just having a hard time right now. We've been TTC number 2 since 6 weeks after our daughter was born (so, for more than 2 years).

@mdiblasi10, I am so sorry that you feel there is resentment to those who are pregnant again. I hope I haven't said anything to make anyone feel that way. I am happy for all of you. I am just personally having a really rough time right now.
