How to gif on mobile

Because this is super important.

Step 1: Search for your gif

Step 2: Click on those three little dots in the bottom right corner and select "View image"

Step 3: You'll see this:

Step 4: Copy the address bar

Step 5: Type (or copy and paste like I do) this:

Step 6: Paste your link between the quotations and you're done.

Go ahead and practice, I'll try to help if you have questions.

@marg81 does your link end in .gif or .jpeg? Based on your image box it looks like it does not, and it needs to or the gif won't work.

On the iPad, you can just hold your finger on the image and then hit copy, then come here to the post box, press down your finger again and hit paste. Though it didn't work for me this time - D'oh.

I can do it from my phone now. Thanks! How do you do it from the computer? Newish to the bump, and it took me almost a full day to figure out how to edit signature and to add a ticker.

It's way easier on a computer, @marg81. Just google your image, right click and select "copy image address" and then come back to the reply box and click on the little picture in the tool bar at the top and paste your link there.

@marg81 - On my computer, I just highlight the gif and copy it and then paste it into the post box. This has worked for me every time - not sure if it works for everyone.

@FrecklesInside‌ are you able to just long press on the image of a gif and get the address that way? I've never used a windows phone so I'm not even sure how it looks..

It is a really different interface, which I like, its why I got it, buy unfortunately it isn't compatible with a lot of iPhone or Droid apps , commands etc.
