  This morning, as I was laying her down, DD flung her unswaddled arm around my neck and snuggled her face in the other side. Totally accidental (she's 9.5wks) but best hug ever. I just stood there and held her like that while my heart just overflowed. Moments like that make all the hard times so worth it!

  My DS does this!  He'll pull off and give me a huge smile and start talking to me.  Then just as suddenly, he'll attack my nipple like "oh yeah, I'm in the middle of eating".  It cracks me up. Sometimes he does this 5-6 times in a row.
  DD does this too! Only on the right side though. It's pretty dang cute!

  I love that she's ticklish, she giggles so hard every time I change her clothes and it just melts my heart. She's becoming more fun. She wants to play with toys finally, and she's always babbling and squealing. In the last couple of weeks things have gotten much easier with her and I really enjoy playing and "talking" with her now.

  I love her big morning stretches, goofy smiles and how she makes all sorts of new noises. She even surprises herself now with some of the noises and looks at me like "did that just come out of me?!"

  Ok, new one for LO. He's learned in the last two days to really use his voice to communicate.  I put him in his swing while I picked up around the living room, and the lil guy started going Ooo ooo oooo ooo ooo at me, and when I looked at him he smiled the biggest smile.  This was different from his normal coos and goos and burble.  My heart melted to hear his 'real voice'  :x

  I love that he's insanely happy to see whoever wakes him up in the morning. I actually told DH to let Aiden sleep in this morning and I'd get him up when I was totally ready because I wanted to get the smiles - totally paid for it by being super late to work, but I don't care!

  Like everyone else, the smiles. I love after nursing her twice during the night while she's half asleep and incoherent when she wakes up after the 5-7 am nursing sesh (not that it lasts that long, but it hits sometime during that window) and is like, "OH YEAH YOU EXIST AND I LOVE YOU!"

  
  

  Okay, she might not think that and I'm definitely putting words in her mouth, but her smiles of "Hey you're a person who takes care of me and I think that's awesome" recognition gear me up for another long day of poops, cries and nipple bites.

  Everything!! Most of all that she smiles back (90% of the times) when I smile at her..That she loves interacting with mommy and daddy..That she wants to "hang out" on my shoulder while checking out mommy's face..That she covers her mouth and my nipple when I am feeding as if she's hinting that "its me time and mommy's boob is mine" and that "mommy's breastfriend and mommy are my property and I want to just lounge her for as long as I want"..That she and her dad sleep in the same position with their hands up..Too many more things but will stop now

  So many things!  I love those huge smiles.  I enjoy our chats.  He loves to chatter at me during his diaper changes.  Just a precious time right now.

  The way she moves her legs around while she's eating. She always ends ups with one cold foot flat on my arm or chest and I love it when she curls her little toes. I took a picture the other day because I want to always remember it.

  Just in the past few days, Elise has an adorable eating routine. After she calms down post-burping (she's pissed when her bottle is taken away even with 5.5 oz), she slinks down my chest and looks into my eyes. She'll then have a full cooing/smiling conversation with me and continually nuzzles into my shirt. :x
  
  Recently, she also loves snuggling with blankets. I'll put an A&A blanket on her while lying in her RnP, and she'll immediately grasp it and rub it on her face. Babies are so cute!!!
