Back in the file room - getting ready to take on the W drawer.
I am way more excited than I should be to look through the many many Wangs, in hopes of a serendipitously funny FN-LN combo.
There was a lady at work whose next has Happy Wang. Her real name was spelled differently and pronounced a slight bit differently. She decided Happy was easier for everyone but probably not the best combination.
Nothing quite that good - but I did find ones that sound like "see wang" and "you wang" and "wrong wang" (actual spellings omitted for privacy purposes).

This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome. 131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
I ve been so excited to go to a splash pad with G and today was the day! I packed everything up and we headed out the door. Drove to the splash pad and DH asked if I brought towels. Fcck. No. I'm an idiot. Gaaah I was so looking forward to it. Hopefully wr can try next week and I won't be such a rookie mom.
@gutsymama
You're amazing.
All that you have had to deal with since Lucas was born and you're donating milk!!
I'm in awe.
I'm mostly just incredibly glad to have my deep freeze back

I got a little concerned that the term "wang" had derogatory roots that I am unintentionally perpetuating, so I did some googling:
"penis," 1933, slang, probably from whangdoodle, an earlier term for "gadget, thing for which the correct name is not known." Many such words (thingy, dingus, etc.) have been used in slang for "penis," not because the actual name was unknown, but because it was unmentionable. Another possibility is that the slang word is a variant of whang "large, thick slice" (1634), which earlier was used in the sense of "thong" (1536) and is itself a variant of thwang, an alternat form of thong (see thong).

No joke, I had someone come in my office one time named Long Wang. It's probably a confidentiality breach or something to say that, but if any of you are brave enough to try and google search him you deserve whatever search results you get. He had a friend with him who I later referred to as "Short Wang" with coworkers.

I just went and renewed my car insurance today. I just found out that my 2006 Ford Escape is classified as a "Station Wagon". I always thought it was an SUV. I feel so old now.
Ben bit somebody again today. I feel awful. And I am irrationally upset with him. Why, Ben? Why do you bite? And it is even worse because I feel like there is literally nothing I can do, because I'm not there.
@econmama we always search for chick fil a when we have long drives now, they always have the best indoor play places. Good luck with the rest of your drive, hopefully no more puking.
DD just had her first dance class today, she was so cute in her little pink ballet shoes and pink tights and leotard. She loved it.

Work is crazy the past 2 weeks not necessarily a lot of travel...average travel but just very full days. No spare time to make a call...answer emails and texts...it's crazy. I need a raise.

I just removed 1,688 photos from my phone..... I feel so much better that they are safe on my computer and on shutterfly but so sad that I can't wip out my phone and look through them. The little icon on the top of my screen telling me that I was running out of room scared me. I thought my phone was going to crash and I'd loose everything.
Oh, and George HATES salmon! He has never turned down a thing before. Holy cow he was so disgusted by salmon. We even tried to hide it in the mango salsa and rice but even a fleck would freak him out and he'd start spitting everything out and look at us in a horrible way ) It was so freakin funny!!
I do believe a double date is already on the books, yes? But we are heavy into dating so Maggie is available outside of our already scheduled GTG @simone711@Stacey099 @ cfreymc

I got an sd card for my phone pictures because even after I backed them up I had a panic attack when I tried deleting them. It was kind of pathetic. Like I was deleting her! I have the sd card half filled up now....
I asked DH a million times if it was going to be alright when I deleted them. It was so scary!!
Night one since the days of swaddling we are attempting to have V sleep in his crib. He hasn't slept in his crib since about January. We are trying. We will see how it goes.
Does anyone remember what day @lizabethann06 told her amazing pool story? I started to tell DH but stopped and explained that I needed to read it straight from TB because it was worded so well.
@simone711 - she used to be Peanut, but it didn't feel right calling her that after I found out she was allergic to peanuts a few months ago. I sometimes call her Sweet Gherkin (a type of pickle which is small and sweet), too.
DH said we should call Zoe Peanut because she loves peanut butter. lol
