October 2012 Moms

mid week randoms!

Guys. I finally bought a cheap blender. I made Alice a strawberry, blueberry, and spinach smoothie. She is sacking it down like it's the best thing she ever ate. AND she has potstickers for lunch. All the veggies!! I feel good about my kid's food intake today. Even if she did have a waffle for breakfast. ;)

Re: mid week randoms!

  • Bailey and I split a batch of hummus. Well I'm lying, she ate most of it!! :)

It's our 3rd wedding anniversary. He's picking up SD before coming home from work. The house is on the way home. I was really hoping he'd stop home and see me, or at least take B for the ride with him so I could at least get some work done. But instead he gave me attitude. And my head feels like it might explode and my doc still hasn't called in the preauth for my migraine meds. Yay

  • Ready to have a nervous breakdown

Putting Bailey to sleep lately has been horrible. I don't know what happened. She used to just go to bed. Now she screams and screams and cries and I just can't do this anymore. It's heartbreaking. And now I'm leaving her for 3 nights, and then again for another few when I'm in DC. I'm a mess.

  • I went in to try to calm her down and it made things worse. She was clinging to me so hard and crying. Then I started crying. Then DH came up and she wanted nothing to do with him and i kept on crying. I finally gave in and picked her up. Rocked her to sleep, and when I tried to move her she freaked. Laid her on her floor and she passed out. Terrified to move her. I know I did the wrong thing picking her up but I just couldn't take the crying :(

  • So I told DH she was passed out on her floor and I was afraid to move her. He went in and stepped on her hand. Now she's in my bed watching the wiggles while I put away about 5 loads on laundry. This. Fucking. Night.

  • @ stephcarter, I hope it gets better. I'm sure it's a phase, but it sounds awful.

I'm bumping in bed. I just shook awake MH because he is snoring, and told him to shut up or GTFO. He went to go sleep on the couch. So, sweet. Bed to myself. Peace and quiet.
I keep telling him to see a doctor or get a mouth guard because this snoring is a new thing and not normal. He just ignores me. So I don't feel bad about his nights on the couch.

@stephcarter has she had her ears checked recently? That sounds awful! :(

My sister said my nephew didn't sleep from 15m till he was 2. Then he got tubes a put in. Now even at 18 the boy can sleep through damn near anything.

  • She does have all 4 canines coming through. She's just so mommy clingy lately. I can't even leave the room without her freaking our lately. She hasn't been complaining about her ears, just her teeth. Maybe I'll get them checked anyway.

  • @BeaF12‌ mobile bump sucks lately. When I log in, it takes me back to the home screen, then I click the thread and I'm still not logged in. But, if I click refresh while in the thread, I'll be logged in then. So annoying.

That is the only way Norah will eat veggies except those squeeze Gerber ones. Smoothies for hiding veggies for the win!

Also, waffles are a staple here!
