For about a month or so now, DS has become somewhat of a picky eater. One thing I do find funny, that I keep to myself, is when he has been eating something all of a sudden he does a raspberry and turns his head. I try to give him a variety so he can choose among things to eat. But if he does not want to eat what is given I try to give him any leftovers. And when that fails I resort to giving him a food pouch. I buy ones that are high in calories (~130) to help give him enough calories. And he will suck down a food pouch like nobody’s business. So I think I am going to order reusable food pouches to make my own.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Oh and also, his new thing is it is fun to feed mama my food! He will grunt more if I decline his offer. So sometimes I eat more of his dinner than he does.
What do you do in picky eating situations?
(Posting and running for a bit, sorry. (Pfft, work.))

I definitely agree with not letting him win or take control. Because in the future with 1-2 more children, I do not want to spend time making multiple different meals. So I figure I will offer him the main meal with something he loves on the side as well.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
I guess I should not look at how much he eats at a given meal and be worried if it is only a little. I should know that he may eat more or less some days.
Thanks for the insight ladies!
