I'm the president of the @wifeofadam fan club.
Does anyone remember that? I believe that was with the first big board fight mentioned in Tarheel's OP.
I forgot about that. That was during the sanctimommy drama and when hairbraiders was coined. I'm proud to take credit for hairbraiders. Ironically, I did not classify myself as a hairbraider at the time, yet I am probably one of the only people here who wears a braid in her hair daily. lol
Good times. I'm so glad you guys love me for me now and embrace my crazy :-*

Oh my goodness, yes, I remember that!! And if I recall correctly, in those early days the two of you have been on opposite sides of an argument more than once (possibly even in that same thread, because wasn't that the one where everyone was arguing about like 5 different things at once?), so it was kind of an odd assertion to make. :-P

Was that the thread where conversation turned to literal hairbraiding? Or did we turn to literal hairbraiding in the more recent BF/FF debate thread that got really heated for like half a page and then just turned into all of us kisses each others' butts over how mature and reasonable we all are?

No. It was during the christmas present/sanctimommy/plastic toy craziness. I remember saying something about how some of us liked the debate more than just braiding each other's hair all day long. I think those that don't enjoy the debate started referring to each other as the hairbraiders after that.
First off I'm a crazy lurker..seriously don't want to admit how much time I actually spend on here. I don't post much because my phone is stupid and I my tablet would actually let my type anything. So whatever. But I never feel out of place when I do comment

also just made tacos for dinner
See, I don't feel like you're a lurker. I feel like you're a regular, too. But that may be because we got that NC connection.
I will add to the randomness of this thread and say my dd just pansed me. I am stirring some carrots ob the stove and she came up and just pulled my shorts down and looked at me and laughed!

I feel like I'm constantly on here but obviously mostly a lurker. My hubby says I'm addicted to TB, which I totally am. I (like others mentioned previously) feel no need to repeat what pp have said in a thread and by the time I get through the threads and posts, my opinion has most likely already been put out there.
I missed the juice one somehow though. I used to give DS a little juice to add flavor to his water all the time. But then I was trying to focus on upping his milk intake after he stopped BF and now I'm guilty of giving him chocolate milk. ::the shame::
@octobermama37- you, a lurker? No way. Just because you may lurk more than you post doesn't classify you as a lurker. I definitely think you're an active participant here!

X_X
This is shameful?
I feel like MOTY when I give DD chocolate milk.
The smiles. Oh, the smiles. And the clapping. And the giggling.
Ummm, he doesn't like regular milk, like at all. So every cup of milk I give him IS chocolate milk. And he drinks like 3-4 cups a day.
He has inherited my husbands love of chocolate milk and peanut butter.
Just the other day they were eating peanut butter out of the jar- with spoons. Straight up. Oh boy.
And thank you @Kleigh, that means a lot to me. I do keep up with the board as much as possible. I just miss things here and there sometimes. Ie- the juice thread and the work vent thread. That might be a good thing though bc I like when we all get along. :-)
Wow- I totally didn't expect my 'third wheel' comment to take off! I think it was more a comment on me though... I'm not cool enough to conversationally hang out with the wine/beer drinking bunch and I have a tendency to get over analytically and factual which can be great at work but can be a thread-killer (or bring out the fight'n gloves) on the internet.

How was I never tagged in the Feb2013 inside jokes post?! I mean, not that I should have been, but you know, AW. I think I was the one who brought up the peace offering unity horse of clubbing baby seals that we now know @sagen does when hopped up on Dr. Pepper.
I love you Sterling. Was going to tag you as most likely to disappear to parenting. Bahahaha.

I sometimes feel the same. I have nothing to contribute in the drinking vein and I get too verbose for my own good. But I still feel very welcome. I probably lurk more than I post.
I consider myself a lurker, but here's how I feel about it. I will chime in, but I'm an over-thinker so I know by the time I'm done, the thread is practically over :-). I learn a lot from everyone. There are such diverse experiences that I would never be exposed to otherwise. (and, surprise surprise, this thread is nearly over but just now able to post!)
I'm a little more private because given my lurker status, I think don't necessarily merit the support more active people have, BUT I think if needed, it's there, because Feb 13 is the bomb.com.
I like wine, beer, cheese, tacos, Dr. Pepper ... and I know these be fightin' words, but @sagen ... I do not like Target. :-) I'm not a big shopper, but I do pledge my allegiance to diapers.com.
(edit - bearsfanmama = dannysmama. Pregnant with numero dos, so mamma to more than D-monster).
Oh hai! I'm still new here but I like Taco Bell and part of my reason for going there is for Dr Pepper, I never knew this was a cool kid think, but now I feel awesome because of it. I moved up north and we have no Taco Bell up here, we have a taco time in town but that's 4hrs away my love for wine is intense, but my love for tea and cherry coke (which we don't have up in Canada, sadness) is equally as intense .
I may be a newbie, but soon enough you will all know me. IM NEVER LEAVING AGAIN. Learn to love Mac's mama, I'm trying not to come off too strong yet, but I'm really a bit of an AW.
I am mostly a lurker too, and for several reasons - everthing has already been said by the time I get to posting, I only really get to post on certain days of the week (the days I work, shhhh), and mostly because you all are so F-ing witty, I couldn't possibly hold a candle to the hilarity! I love it though, and I love all of you for brightening my days!!!
"You reach deeper until you can find the strength. That's all life is, one big fight after another."
I don't post nearly as much as I would like. I only get on at work so I don't do nights and weekends which by the time I come back, there is so much I have missed.
I do post when I feel I have something to say...I don't feel like a 3rd wheel or a luker. Just maybe a part timer? LOL
I love Taco Bell (we call it Taco hell). But... Taco Bell does NOT love me. I get hideous stomach pains every time I eat there. I love that comic bit where whichever comedian points out that when you eat taco bell, your hands smell like taco bell for like the next three months. I can completely relate!
I like Dr. Pepper but prefer Coke.
I'm a huge AW, and feel like I've had nothing positive to post lately because all I do is complain. But I read all of your laughs and feel better, so keep them coming!

Random health tip. Drinking spearmint tea will help keep a ladystache at bay.
