Seriously, how does anyone stand Maroon 5? Adam Levine has one of the most annoying voices in the music world. Their old stuff was so much better than this falsetto singing new crap like "Maps." It's like a modern day, sucky version of a Bee Gees song.

OH YAH, I have a complaint.

I have two eyebrow hairs, right by my nose bridge (i.e. most noticeable) that have decided to stick straight out and down. I have tried hairspraying them up, and this morning I tried using a tiny pair of scissors to "curl" them back up like you do ribbon when you're wrapping gifts.

Any other ideas?? Ahhh!

The paint we used for the accent wall and hallway is the wrong sheen. It's shiny as hell and I don't think I can bear it. I suggested the other sheen and H gets this one to wipe off messes the kids may try to make. Ok, good thought but it completely changed the effect of the color. Now it just looks like plastic walls. I'm having them repainted as soon as I can throw the money at it.

Jobs. I'm looking for a full-time job and my nerves have taken over.

None of my bras fit right.

I fell off my workout wagon. I was killing it and seeing results and then I got stressed over some school stuff and fell apart.

And on the same page with the assholes in the merging, people need to turn their headlights on by 9pm in the summer. Just because it's still a LEEEETLE bit light out, does not mean everyone can see you. Dusk=/=daytime.

I got the bill down to $145 from $200. Not as low as I wanted, but better for now. They currently have a deal for new people to get what we have for $80 and get a $300 visa gift card. I think I will wait a month or two and then call again. Today's guy was super helpful, so I caved.

I feel like I've been complaining a lot this week (at home) - but since there is a thread for it, I might as well continue!

This week has sucked. It always sucks during our budget season, but I feel like I'm working a bazillion hours and it's not being recognized and appreciated. And it's probably because everyone above me is just as stressed.

And now, the first night this week I'll actually be leaving at a reasonable hour, I don't get to see my kids because I agreed to do a work-outing with DH. I'm excited to spend the time with him, but missing my babies.

In the non-complaint dept...my meeting with the CFO went well this morning and I should be working better hours for the next couple days at least.

I'm done rambling now.

ETA: It sounds like I'm whining about a couple long days...but I've been working 14-15 hour days for a few weeks now. It's just finally getting to me.

Stupid complaint, but today is my 4 year anniversary and I said to DH yesterday that he will like what I got him this year. FTR, I got him a massage. He has only had one before ever, and LOVED it..so I know he will be thrilled.

We have never discussed not doing gifts for holidays..but if he discussed it with me I wouldn't be against it. I like giving gifts though!

When I told him he will like what I got, he goes "AWWW why do you have to do that to me and make me feel all bad bc I didn't get you anything!? Well...I guess I AM taking you out for a nice dinner."

Um...whatever. Idk what to say to that. He does this most birthday's, anniversaries, and valentines day. He always makes the excuse that he had no time (which he did) and that he is a terrible husband (which he is not..he is just not romantic). I feel sick of it.

I still love him to DEATH and am so happy to be going out with him, kid free, but I wish he could just buy me/write me a card or some flowers or SOMETHING. We DO have amazon prime!

We bought all of the decking/railing for the new house today, roughly 800sq feet of Trex. That shit cost more than a year of college tuition for me. It stung a bit.

They are two of the most important "main" hairs. My eyebrows will look uneven without them

Call the company. Ask for someone in HR. When it's through Monster they generally go in a giant inbox, so the call may make them actually find yours and pull it out.

BTW-I've never had any luck with Monster. I've had better luck with CareerBuilder and even Craigslist.

I don't have time to weed thru the crap on craiglist, but I will give career builder a shot! I will definitely follow up on some of these as well, thanks!

I would actually apply directly through the company's site and not a third party. Look on monster and career builder and if you are interested find the job posting directly on that company's page. A lot of companies have a system that directly submitted resumes come through and that is where they focus their time and third party resume sites go into a separate system.

My complaint...it's eff-ing hot here and we don't have AC (most people don't here). I'm already a huge sweaty mess and hot all the time. I feel bad for Audrey because I'm huge, uncomfortable and all I want to do all day is sit in front on the fan. The 10 day forecast says it's just going to get hotter! I have stuff I want to get done before my RCS on the 21st but the heat is making me not want to exert any energy. I swear, if the ac in the hospital goes out I'm going to scream!

AT&T: You guys are idiots. Tell me that the only way to get a new phone is your fancy no-contract thing that increases my bill by $40/month per line upgraded (so $120 more per month). I go to target and the ATT guy there sells me an iPhone 5c for $30, plus gives me a $20 target gift card. Target - you're awesome. ATT stinks.

this is what I was doing last night because I couldn't get my resume onto my iPad. A lot of companies don't advertise their current employment opportunities on their page? I can't find an HR email address. Do you think it is ok to submit it to the regular "info" email address? Ugh this is annoying

Humm, if they don't have employment opportunities on their page I would probably stick with monster or however you found the job since they are obviously not getting resumes through their own job system. I know where I worked if you sent a resume through our general email it may eventually make it to me but it could also very easily get lost since we were a large company, but if it's a small company it may not hurt to do that in addition to submitting through the job board.

This. Being that pregnant in extreme heat with no A/C? zomg you are super woman for dealing with it!

It's a total catch 22; the heat is making me more uncomfortable but now I'm so uncomfortable I don't want to go anywhere and exert energy. We do have a window unit in our bedroom but it's not a fun room for Audrey so she always wants to leave. We ordered one for her room and it got here today, so we can hang out in her room when it gets bad.

I don't know who decided that houses in wa don't need ac but they need to be shot.

Eta: we don't live near much anyways. We have a small library but the closest mall or children's museum is 45 mins away. Maybe tomorrow we will venture to the library.

I have one neighbor/friend who has ac in her house and normally I would go hang out at her house but she's out of town this week :-(
