So...mh is cool with one new diaper a month (he has a video game allowance, and he suggested I put money aside for Starbucks each month)-I told him I would much rather have a new diaper each month and brew my coffee at home. I only drink regular coffee there anyway
Onto my dilemma-should I pick out something I've been eyeing for a while? Or I signed up for a $20 grab bag from Nickis-guaranteed value of $40. Will contain a diaper, wet bag, and two accessories.
I've been looking at grovia shells, softbums, more BB. I'm worried to get a junky diaper in the grab bag
Unfortunately the answer can't be "just get both"

Re: Dilemma
Being the kind of person that I am, I would pick something that I've been specifically eyeing to make sure that I get a diaper that I really want. I wouldn't want to spend the money and get a diaper that I'm not happy with just to get the extras. But that's because I have no guts lol others might find the surprise exciting.
IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
beta #2 11/28 = 2055
Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!
So for the first month get what you want. But maybe next month opt for the grab bag assuming it will still be available. And if you don't love what you got swap it! And get something you really love!
I liked the SoftBums I have.....but the idea of the prints going up in price to where they're worth more than I paid (I have one fingerpaint Echo) actually makes me too nervous to use it as other than an emergency diaper right now. I don't want solid diapers so I'm not buying more SoftBums. You'd also have to be comfortable with the idea of using a fleece lined shell more than once to use SoftBums.

Or you could just get a few Softbums and use them in a large rotation and then sell for what you bought them for or more. Yea....slippery slope. I started with one and now have 16. You can find good deals if you stalk the FB BST too. Someone traded me brand new HTF prints for my Nickis pockets a while back.
Soooo my vote is obviously try the Softbums!
