Plus Size Maternity Help!

To all my plus size ladies! I will be driving down to the US on Friday during the day to do some MUCH needed plus size maternity shopping. So, I thought I would pop in here and see where everyone suggests I would have the best luck of hitting up.

I know to stop at Motherhood Maternity, as I think they have a bigger plus size selection in the US than in the small store where I live.

Does Old Navy have a plus size maternity section, or just a plus size section? It's hard to see on their website...and my pants would be bigger than a size 18, which looks to be where most of their pants end in size.

Any help or suggestions would be lovely!!!

Yeah, we have up to XXL where I am too, so tops shouldn't be an issue.

My biggest problem has been pants/jeans. I have ONE pair of maternity jeans, and I'm in desperate need of at least one more, or maybe two.

I'm so excited to have more options!!!

some Kohl's stores have plus size maternity but some do not.

Old Navy has plus size maternity but I think it's hard to find in store. I order it online. Same with motherhood maternity - the in store selection normally stinks here. I hope where you're going has some nice things for you

Thanks everyone! I took a peek at Kohls, and I think Target has some too.

Honestly, even if they don't have a lot, it's more than I have where I live. Old Navy in my Canada doesn't even have a Plus Size, the Target near me (a new store) doesn't have Plus Size. So, hopefully I can find some basic tops, and maybe one more pair of pants.

I had to order my XXL Old Navy clothing on line - I found nothing at the store in that size. I was an 18w-20w prior to pregnancy and some of the XXL pants are still a bit big on me at 27 weeks (so hopefully they will fit until the end of the pregnancy [fingers crossed]).

For jeans, I was able to find a decent pair of 1XL jeans at the local Motherhood Maternity store. But it is one of the larger stores in the area and they had a very small section of plus size maternity clothing.

Uh oh...well, I'm still going to be hoeful that from amongst a handful of stores, I MIGHT luck in to something! If not, then my current pair of jeans will need to last until October. Yikes!

Our Target did have a decent selection of Plus size maternity but it stops at XXL. Most of it is really cute too!

Is there a Ross near where you will be? They tend to have a lot of dresses for pretty inexpensive 20.00 range. Maxi dresses are so easy to wear when pregnant and they don't have to be maternity ones.

Old Navy has almost no maternity clothes in store - regardless of misses or plus size. Motherhood Maternity has some. Depending on where in the US you are driving to will make a difference. In my area, it's very difficult to find maternity clothes in store at all. It seems like most stores want you to order online.

Places to try would include Destination Maternity, Motherhood Maternity, and Macys (who carries Motherhood in store). I don't believe Kohls has plus size maternity. At my local store their maternity section consists of one rack of dresses, some short shorts, and ugly jeans in odd sizes.

I am a petite size and I pretty much have to buy my maternity clothes in misses and have everything altered. Hope you have better luck!

If there is a Sears nearby where you will be, try there. It was the last place I would have thought of but a friend recommended them. I got several pairs of plus size jeans and capris...for a great price.

I had the best luck at destination maternity. Not all motherhood stores carry plus size anymore.

I went to Target and Motherhood Maternity!! I had to even get maternity scrub pants for work my original ones were starting to squeeze me for dear life haha

I do my shopping at target and old navy. Check online to see if they sell the size you are looking before you go to that store. I have 5 targets near me and I just look to see if they have it before I go so i don't waste my time

and I would suggest adding target cartwheel to your phone. right now they have 40% off maternity wear!
