Where the fuck is this morning sickness everyone keeps talking about, and why won't it hit me?? I'm already fat - I do NOT need this insane appetite
This is getting ridiculous. I cannot think about anything but food. This is the most powerful and intense hunger I've ever felt before and I literally go into a rage if I can't get something to eat. I went off on C yesterday because I really wanted Indian food for dinner but she was being whiney about it and I got super pissed.
I thought this was supposed to be the time in my pregnancy when I was bent over a toilet and dry heaving. Not stuffing my face like a hog.
Anyone else feel this way?

OMG, it sucks!!!!! I told my mom that I hoped I'd get morning sickness so I wouldn't gain weight during pregnancy
I'm not supposed to gain much weight. But with my appetite the way it is, I could easily gain 10 pounds in a month.
I could do without carbs, unless they're smothered in cheese sauce or gravy. I'm jonesing for protein. Eggs, cheese, chicken, beans, steak, tofu... I want protein in every form available. I'm trying very hard, though. Drinking sparkling water helps.
@PHNJenna - me, too (11-15 lbs max). That is going to be very challenging if this keeps up. And here I have a teeny tiny friend who probably should gain 25-30 pounds but she gets crazy morning sickness and can't keep anything down.
I wish I could trade symptoms with her!

I just finished my lunch and I'M STILL HUNGRY. I have my afternoon snack in my lunch bag that I'm forcing myself to wait until 4:00 to eat. I ate my snack with my lunch yesterday and I turned into a monster (which is why I snapped at C for denying me butter chicken, which I WILL have tonight).
I'm going to go fill up my water bottle and be miserable for the next 3 hours.

The worse part is that even though I was eating well my first week (not skimping on food), I lost 5 lbs (this was at 4wks). I've now gained that all back, as of this morning!
Jluff29, I bring (a portion controlled amount of) nuts, a piece of fruit (or two), a small container of greek yogurt, and a string cheese or two, with me to work. I find that the proteins and healthy fats are good to add in. But it doesn't help much with filling me up, honestly, since I can eat full meals, be SOOOO full, and still be stomach growling hungry 10 mins later! Also, I love this product called Chia Squeeze (the apple cinnamon is great!!). If you are wanting to try something new, we pick them up at HEB but they also sell them online, I think!
