I have to make a huge 10x20 foot booth backdrop with pictures of equipment. I was told to 'cut' the machines out from their backgrounds in photoshop.

I was given CELL PHONE photos that would be grainy on a 5x7" print. There are chairs in front, jackets hanging off the machine, and a red solo cup on top. "Just photoshop them" they say.

mmmmmmmmmmmmkay.

It took me 1 hour and 17 minutes to get to work this morning due to construction delays. It took me almost 30 minutes to go less than 2 miles. And of course, there were several d-bags who waited until the last possible minute to get into the right lane, even though there were signs ever 500ft stating that the other lanes were ending.

When I'm ruler of Wisconsin, all those bastards are getting construction tickets--double the fines, double the points. Because I don't think I can make a rule that says you can get a ticket for just being an asshole.

My team works with an outside web programmer who doesn't understand how to be professional. She misses deadlines and turns in sloppy reports, yet has convinced my colleague who is the liaison to her that she is the ONLY one who could possibly understand the complexities of our website. Because of this, she turned away another developer who was willing to offer us some pro bono work to create a mobile app. Am I crazy to think that if she gets hit by a bus tomorrow, someone else would surely be able to come in and pick up where she left off? No one is this indispensable, especially if her work isn't up to par.

Preggo SIL lives in Colorado, 2 hours from Denver. My inlaws are driving from IN to take baby stuff to her.

I am driving to Denver the following weekend with a big piece of machinery for work.

They asked me if I could fit a bunch of furniture in my work trailer to "save SIL from the cost of renting a trailer in September and driving 7 months pregnant." Uh.............. why don't my inlaws rent a uhaul trailer and take her the shit themselves while they're DRIVING THERE ANYWAY? Apparently they're "only taking what they can fit in the truck." What??

So freaking bizarre. Who would ask that!?

Haha, when I'm stressed and thinking I'm the only person in the world who can do what I do, I think of the same bus scenario and take a chill pill. Everyone is replaceable.

mmmmmmmmmmmmkay.

This sounds like a DH complaint. They have to provide before and after shots of the remodel of the stores they do. The contractors send the worst pictures ever. So bad that DH has flown back to markets to take the pics himself a few times.

In the last two days I've bought nine samples of paint to try on our house. Yes. We are still on this crap. My house looks like a quilt with all these colors on it. Fingers crossed that #9 is the winner. I'm starting to think choosing a house paint color is as hard as choosing a baby name.

I have the card paint samples taped up all over my kitchen cabinets. I started making tally marks on my favorite every time I go in the kitchen. Then I moved them to the lower cabinets and the one that had no tally marks from the top cabinets has almost caught up now. I'm never going to decided. To top it off, I was planning to practice on the cabinet in our half bath and DH told me yesterday that he thinks we should go with a dark color in there. Grrr, the one time he actually has an opinion on something so I feel obligated to go with it.

I was one of those developers. It sucked. I left documentation and made notes in my code, but it would have been difficult for someone else to come in and just pick up. Possible, of course, no one is indespensible.

Does anyone else think LinkedIn endorsements are complete BS? I am so tired of email alerts telling me that someone endorsed me for a skill, when 75 percent of the time, the percent has no clue if I even possess that skill. And now, a woman who I have worked very loosely with and I think is a complete idiot, actually emailed me asking for endorsements. WTF. I didn't even know this was a thing.

I've had 102 people endorse me for PCR, which means Polymerase Chain Reactions. What a crock, haha.

I brought hard boiled eggs for lunch. I have a 50% chance of barfing when I unshell them. Considering I can't even stand the smell of my broccoli, it's not looking good.

Call the company. Ask for someone in HR. When it's through Monster they generally go in a giant inbox, so the call may make them actually find yours and pull it out.

BTW-I've never had any luck with Monster. I've had better luck with CareerBuilder and even Craigslist.

If you have contact info for the company, I'd go directly to them. It's so hard when you're submitting online into what can feel like a void.

Oh, good! This is exactly what I came on here to do today!

I'm having an extra hormonal day or something because every little thing is driving me bananas! Nola is being extra fussy, Camden won't nap, the toys and books that she sprawls out everywhere are making me see red and I just want to do housework without having to stop every 5 minutes to tend to someone. I really just need to crawl in a hole by myself before I really go insane.

I've been on the phone for close to an hour between my insurance company & Target. Our mail order prescription thing will no longer supply my blood thinners since they're a special order. Which means they won't be sending me a sharps container either. So I have about a million used sharps that I don't know what to do with.

Finally got my prescription transferred to Target, but they don't take the used needles back, and don't give you the containers. Pharmacy tech was awesome and referred me to some state website that had a list of all collection sites, and turns out my grocery store, right next door to Target will take them back. For $15. Which is more than I paid for the 3mo supply of shots to begin with. It's just asinine.

I can't wait to stop taking these stupid things.
