  Ella Claire is very pretty - I like that.  I don't like shorter 1st names & longer middle names - something about proportion - LOL crazy I know.

  I think Ella, a one syllable name, should have something longer to go with it.

  I don't really have any suggestions but I just wanted to tell you that I love the name Ella. It is my grandmother's name. We would totally name our girl that if my cousin hadn't named her daughter that.

  How funny!  If we have a girl, her name will be Ella Claire!   Ella is for DH's grandmother, Eleanor, and Claire is for my grandmother, Clara!

  My first thought was Marie (maybe Maria but that depends on if the last name ends in an a too it might be too much)
