I voted mixed because H and I like to sposie overnight, our parents sposie when they babysit, and we sposie when DS has a bad rash (typically from teething).... otherwise we cloth.
Ahhhhh my ears! @tromboner I haaaaaaate the word sposie!
Boooo to you!
We are doing disposables after a lot of number crunching. We live in a condo in Brooklyn with laundry in the basement (5 flights down) I've attached our spreadsheet that helped us decide.

In any situation where the laundry wasn't in my home I'd pick disposables probably just for convenience, but some things that make disposables come closer to the cost of cloth without diaper service: A) 24 months is optimistic you have to seriously be on top of sales and coupons to keep the per diaper price under 25 cents C) if you ever have another child, the cost of cloth is detergent and laundry so unless you are one and done, that should factor in
But, like I said, if my laundry was not in my home, I would pick disposable for sure.

I agree with @mrsdanielleM2010 on all her points. A huge factor for me in getting cloth was having more than one child.... my brand (Real Nappies) has a two child guarantee. If they wear out before I'm done using them on TWO children they are replaced!
I too would totally use DISPOSABLES ( <---- look Danielle!) if I didn't have a washer at home though. Even with a washer at home I'll occasionally drop CDing for convenience.... like in first tri when I was sick all the time.
@BKLiz I also live in a tiny apt sans washer and we are planning on putting this kid in cloth! Does your lease specifically say you can't have a washer? We got a Haier 1 cubic foot washer that hooks up to the bathroom sink for under $200. It is an awesome little machine and will easily fit 2 days worth of diapers! Just a thought if the no washer thing is keeping you from doing something you want to do.
