Rant/rave/chart stalk: I'm a little too excited about the glaring +OPK I got yesterday as well as the crazy EWCM I'm seeing today. Never did I think I would be this excited OR share it on the interwebz. Also... my chart looks a little like a ute right now so maybe I will choose to take that as a sign?

GTKY: we are all smart ladies here - but is their any TTC myth or trick you use to help your odds? Lotsa sex but not as much as the first time since I have all the tools now. DD was conceived by "robosex"... self-explanatory I think.

Just got my delivery of Preseed. Sheesh those applicators look intimidating.... I am glad I have read previous posts about just being able to use a couple of drops externally and not messing with all that business!

Also - just got my copy of Taking Charge of your Fertility. Um... MUCH thicker book than I was expecting!

We used Preseed for the first time this weekend and I decided to apply it the way it's intended for shits and giggles. DH had to leave the room because typical application looked "too scientific"

WHAT THE FARKING FARK?! So I cancelled my doctor appt like they told me to if the spotting stopped. I went four days without spotting, so I was safe, right? Well now suddenly I'm spotting again! I am ready to Hulk smash.

Cycle/Month: 10/13

CD: 6

What are you doing to get pregnant? Metformin, Vitex, PNV, BBT. I quit taking the inositol (I'll get into that in a min). starting OPK's on CD10

Rant/rave/chart stalk: I've been taking Inositol for 2 months now and have had awesome results with weight loss and overall mood. However on Friday I ended up in the hospital with a kidney stone (first one ever) and after some research, I've found out the inositol can cause kidney stones. I never want to experience that again so I've quit taking the inositol. I'm sad because it seemed to be working so well but I'm not willing to risk it.

GTKY: we are all smart ladies here - but is their any TTC myth or trick you use to help your odds? I put a pillow under my hips.

What are you doing to get pregnant? (almost) ED sex, temping, CM

Rant/rave/chart stalk: My first cycle temping. I had a temp spike yesterday but stayed about the same today. Next cycle I may try OPKs and get a better thermometer.

Well crap... got my pos opk tonight so that means I should O in like 12-48 hrs right? That is unfortunate due to my H working nights and not getting off until thurs. Looks like I better stay up super late tonight in hopes of getting a somewhat good timing with my O. Wish it could have held off a few more days. Luckily DH switches to days next week after 2 years of working nights.

Sorry just wanted to sorta vent for a moment and I can't exactly go on facebook and be like "I'm about to ovulate so I better have sex with Dh tonight" lol.

Yes- OB is monitoring me--- just no mid-cycle US. I've gone through all the testing as it took about 2.5 years to get pregnant with our daughter, which was on the 2nd cycle of clomid. This time, he had me chart for about 5 months with BBT and OPK, on top of more bloodwork to check for ovulation... those months I've counted in my "cycles." This was the first month I've taken clomid since I've started trying for a second. I'm more cautious to take it again unmonitored. In terms of risk-factors for OHSS... I'm on the lower side since I'm under 30 and don't have any PCOS. I don't even know if I can see an RE now since we haven't really been trying for a full year. I see my OB tomorrow so these are all things I will ask about. We are probably taking July off anyways since we are going away and I won't be able to do any f/u appointments. I'm a bit worried (maybe unnecessarily) that a RE would try to push us towards IUI/IVF. I'm a bit uneasy about that, not because it takes away the romance of it, but because all of the appointments and costs are more demanding.
