For those with a Britax vs a Citi Mini

What I love about the Citi Mini is the collapsing feature. One hand, and the whole thing just folds. Does your Britax stroller do that? MH and I originally liked a Britax stroller, but the collapsing feature was a pain (can't remember the model). Once we saw the Citi Mini it couldn't compare, but if there is a Britax out there that could let us skip the adapter by using a Britax seat, we're open to it.

Re: For those with a Britax vs a Citi Mini

  • I watched TONS of Youtube comparisons on the City Select and the Britax B-Ready and chose the B-Ready.

Sorry, I'm not much help on the B-Agile.  I wanted a stroller where I could remove the toddler seat to insert the car seat and I wanted to eventually be able to hold two kiddos.  BUT I would suggest watching Youtube videos.  There are a lot that compare Baby Jogger and Britax.

  • Yes. I have the B Agile and it closes with one hand. You push in a button first, then you pull up on a handle on the middle of the seat and it folds in half. Very simple.

  • I think Baby Jogger was trying to sue Britax for taking its design so I'd guess they are pretty similar.

Do you know which model Britax is similar to the Citi Mini?

    ETA - I guess it's the B-Agile?

  • B Agile and Citi Mini are almost twins. The main difference for us choosing the Britax was the extra stride space for my tall husband. It has a wide bowed bar in the back on the bottom instead of a straight one allowing for a longer stride without kicking the bar.

  • Good to know! So if we get a Britax car seat we can avoid having to get an adapter.

  • Looks like the B-Agile is a bit more wallet friendly too.

  • Yeah, I think we found ours for about $200 online. Do you have a Buy Buy Baby close by? You can try one out there. Don't know about BRU.

  • Yes, our Buy Buy baby has a huge selection.

  • The britax double has the pull feature. You have to push a button on the side and then pull but it's super easy. I feel like its a better double than the city was.

I have the Britax B-Agile (and B-safe seat), and I can close it with one hand. I thought for the longest time I had to push the button and pull the handle simultaneously, but then I realized that isn't necessary. I've been happy with it, and it's super easy to attach/remove the car seat from the stroller.
