Currently a SAHM, quit working as an RN in a cardiac ICU when my husband deployed with the Air Force and haven't decided if I am going back yet now that he is home and I am pregnant again.
I've been a stay at home mom for the last couple months now. Before my daughter was born I was a reading teacher (Yay Title 1) and then after she was born I tutored kids after school. But I've been home full time since we moved and I love it!
@ToasterCat I make banners, confetti, party hats, etc. Basically anything paper! I fell in love with making paper goods when I was planning my son's first birthday party!
I am a commercial litigation attorney- very exciting, lol. I did just start my own practice so I am kind of nervous about being pregnant this early on, but we really want our babies 2 1/2 years apart- we got pregnant very fast, ds will be 2 January 7.
I'm a former teacher. Right now I SAH and I sell Tupperware, Norwex, and have an Etsy Crochet shop that I use to fund the crochet hats and blankets that I donate to the hospitals for babies that are stillborn.
@luckystarz I'm sorry to hear about your friends' loss. I'm glad hospice was able to help soothe the very hard transition.
@conleyk7 my mom works for a very well know spinal cord rehabilitation company as a nurse liaison.. Much respect for your job!
I am an elementary special education teacher at an environmental science school. I love my job and might be one of the very few that does not want to be a SAHM. I love having my breaks off with her and seeing her everyday after work, but I don't think I could do all day, every day. I think SAHM's/single parents are the strongest people I know.
Clinical research nurse in a phase I (first-in-man) oncology drug development unit. I'm also going back to school this fall to get my BSN but will continue working full-time.
@iliketurtles17 I was worried about that with DD, but was never really an issue! Been doing it for 10+ years--I think I'm totally desensitized! I'm hoping to not have an issue with it this time around! Fingers crossed!
I am a third grade teacher. I love working with kids. Each day is a fun adventure and they are always making me laugh. Summers home with my baby are a added plus!
