Joining the summer cold congregation..

Poor DS woke up this morning with a terrible cold, seemingly out of nowhere. His nose is pouring, his sinuses and throat are congested and rattly sounding, he is running a fever, can't bear to lay down, can't sleep.. I feel so bad for him. 

I have eucalyptus, peppermint, and lavender diffusing and that seems to be helping his nose, i am getting plenty of pedialyte and water into him, he is still eating okay, and he's had some tylenol for the fever, but he is still so miserable. Right now he is sitting in his bean bag curled up with his blanky watching hercules. I know he is exhausted, but every time he has gone down today he has woken up 20 minutes later screaming because he can't breath. So now he won't even try. I have a feeling him and i will be sleeping in the recliner tonight.

7/5/11 MC at 8 weeks. 5/17/12 BFP, twins EDD 1/20/13! 6/20/12 Baby B's heart has stopped beating. 8/31/12 Baby A is a boy! And is perfectly healthy and thriving. 1/19/2013 emergency c-section, Thoren is perfect. 3/1/2013 told i will never be able to conceive again. 12/16/13 told they were wrong!

    Us too, I was hoping it was just teething because his top canine teeth are popping through...but his sneezing is out of control...could be allergies...I gave him some Children's Claritin.

    DS is teething too, getting his back molars in. So.. That's awesome..

    Yeah, he has 16 teeth already, getting in the last 4 before the 2 year molars come in right now. He got the last 8 in in the last 2 months, so he has been teething seriously non stop for going on about 4 months now. This is his second cold in that time too. My guess is he managed to chew on something at the park or the store when his teeth were bugging him and picked up some other kids germs ::blech::
