Gah. Call me old fashioned, but I can't keep up with the InstaTwitBlog craze. I do have an IG account, that you all so kindly reminded me I haven't added anything to in forever. kbuechlein

I'm not even really sure what Instagram is, or a hashtag for that matter. I feel old now!

Totally late to this IG party. I'm sad I missed this thread when it started this summer. I don't post a lot of pics of my LO on Facebook, but I do on instgram for some reason. I just sent out a bunch of requests from those listed for July ... Sorry to be creepy.

I'm the exact opposite. IG is for non-baby/non-kid stuff but Facebook is for babies (so Grandmas and Grandpas can see them grow up). (And Twitter is for the political stuff/pop culture stuff no one really wants to read anyway.)

Well, I just added you and your pictures are beautiful. I want to go on vacation wherever you were traveling/living.
I so wish we could do it again sometime. We left from my mom's house in MD last July 20th, headed south to check out the Biltmore estate, then on through TN, taking the scenic routes, ended up talking my mom into New Orleans. Visited family in Houston. Picked up DH, who flew into Dallas, July 26th, then to Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Up into CO for the Million Dollar Highway loop, Cortez for the cliff dwellings. To The Grand Canyon, then Vegas, up the coast to visit Yosemite. Visited San Francisco, up the coastal highway, through Bend, and ended up at my uncle's house in Emmett, ID August 5th I think it was. I'm sure I missed a bunch in there. We traveled by RV, staying at KOA's across the country. With us were my mom, twin brothers, 16 year old sister, our then 3 year old, DH, and our friend from Spain. It was amazing, and I'd do it all over again in a heart beat.

HOLY CRAP! You are clearly a saint - a) that sounds amazing b) I'm uber impressed that you could do that with so many people you clearly love. My sister and I are super close but I think we'd still kill each other on a trip like that.
Sooooo wish I could convince MH to drive across Canada. He reaches his daily driving limit at about four hours, so it's not happening. We had to drive to a wedding two weekends ago that was 7 hours each way. It was pulling teeth to convince him we could do it with a 5 month old. We did it, it went really well, think that would give him courage for the future...ya no. Just reinforced in him that four hours is his happy limit.
I grew up traveling. Mom would often load us in the car just for a drive. Her, my aunt and I once drove straight through from MD to CO to visit my grandparents in the summer vacation town. I think it was 24 hours of driving or something like that. DH was just happy I saved him from this sleepy town he grew up in in southern IN.
