  My kid was a wreck today. 3 hour late bedtime last night and a 20 minute nap makes for an angry girl child. No fireworks for us. Husband is going with his family to watch them, but we put girl down an hour early. If fireworks in the neighborhood wake her up I may lose my shit.

  We had everyone over for cookout and swimming. Then went to SILs because we can see fireworks from her backyard. Didn't get home til 1030. C did good, fell asleep in car and transferred right to bed. A, who is normally asleep by 730 and will sleep anywhere, must have been overstimulated / overtired because she was up crying til midnight. Oh well, she likes sleeping in.

  Alice is already napping, and it's only 10:15!  Poor baby is just exhausted.  We are headed to walk around downtown when she wakes up.   ILs and MIL's parents are meeting us down there.  Mmmm...street vendor food. (street vendor food up here = salmon or halibut tacos and reindeer sausage.)  I'm ready for veggies to be out.  I want local zucchini!

  IG repeat, but too cute not to share here. We had a mini picnic outside and I set up Alice's "pool" too. (It's an inflatable seal bathtub that she is too big for.) Anyway she gave her daddy wet hugs, so he plopped her in the pool. she was all giggles and "dayeee!" And smiles. She went over and tried to get him to do it again. LOL
  
  Also, it's 80 here. Didn't have to add hot water to the pool or anything today!

  I spent 3 glorious hours at the hospital with my friend today holding her squishy. He is incredibly cute and my uterus is quivering hard core.   Stayed up too late last night watching a movie w MH. This morning he's taking SS, C, and my dad to a car show. Me and baby are hanging at home and I'm doing about a million loads of laundry. Its supposed to be hot today, so hopefully we can get in the pool.

  Thanks to yall, I was up till 3:30 watching OITNB. I had zero interest in the show till yall bushes started talking about it. LOL. I now feel hungover. I was a super genius yesterday and forgot to drink water while gallivanting around outside in a heatwave. (And by heatwave I mean 80 degrees.)

  Alice is way over tired and over stimulated and just over it. I am pretty much at my wits end right now. I'm sitting in the car while Husband is in the restaurant with his family. It has been a terrible morning.
