I think sometimes it is easy to jump on the bandwagon but usually...it's justified.

This board is like sesame street compared to another board I am on. You can't let things get to you, and I don't think anyone ever said this is a support group, just a bunch of ladies having a similar experience.

I have noticed that on some of the other Bump boards, but not this one. Which is why I'm kind of just sticking to this one. A little joking around is okay, but some posts I've seen get pretty mean and for my first pregnancy, I find it a little intimidating because I may have some questions that experienced women find dumb. I think the key is to search the forum before asking something and do a little research before posting, as this seems to be what gets people a little riled up.

Also, be able to take a joke and understand that this is a board of pregnant women going through lots of hormonal changes. I'm sure we'll all get snappy from time to time.

First, these posts never go over well. This is a public forum, you can't tell people how to respond.

Second, I cannot think of a single example, ON FEB '15 that you could be talking about. I've been on TB for a couple of years and this is by far the tamest board I have ever been on. I have found people here to be incredibly supportive, even when it's the 1387642 nausea thread.

Can I just add that I hate the "hormonal" comments? I was opinionated and blunt before I got pregnant, my hormones have nothing to do with that.

And @Jessicaj703, DDing is not cool. Plus I already quoted you, so it really didn't accomplish anything.

I hate the hormonal comments too. I might be more of a rollercoaster on the inside, but trust me, my posting style hasn't changed a bit. It's not hormones. It's fucking annoying posters who need to be told as such.

Oh another thing that really rubs me wrong. If you're going to do it, just actually call someone or something out--even better--IN THE ACTUAL THREAD that you find so offensive. Just vaguely sort of insinuating that some of us are horrible human beings really corrects nothing. And only pisses me off more.

OP thinks we're horribly rude. Even though we really, seriously have a nice yet hilarious board.

Also then girls had to endure disgusting television shows. We watch a TON of Andrew Zimern on Travel Channel and yesterday he was eating like......horse feet or some fucking thing. I died.
