For me? I rock her to sleep still. I've tried putting her down drowsy, but it ends up in screams, and I'm not ready to have her CIO yet.

I really think we're trapped In An overtired cycle and I'm just thinking her bedtime might be contributing to that.

Second day working from home is going ok. It is sooooo hot out! But I'm excited to get LO in one of her bathing suits and itty bitty pool probably tomorrow. It's gonna be so cute!! And ugh, I gotta gear up for putting her down drowsy but awake and sticking with it. We've tried a couple times with varying success and failure. It's just so sad!!

@Jennibeanjld‌ my SIL is the same way. DH is pretty close with his family so it hurts his feelings. I don't get along with his family the best but I would never interfere with her having a relationship with my kids (unless it wasn't safe, of course). The only reason it doesn't bother me more is that she's never tried to portray herself as a great aunt or a big part of their lives.

Update on bedtime last night. He slept for his usual 10 hours but instead of sleeping until 10am he was up at 8. He did so good last night I am hoping for another good night. Fingers crossed! Thanks

For the first year ever I hate the 4th of July. We have various partiers in our neighborhood and LO keeps waking up from all their fireworks! Atleast set them off all at once. Not a few every 20 minutes. Gah!!

On headaches: I've had a lot lately. I think it's a combination of sinuses and lack of sleep. I used my neti pot the other day and it helped a bit, but not totally.

On boiled peanuts: Say whaaaaaat????

You have to boil them for a really long time. I'm doing them in the crockpot and it will probably be about 20 hours. I have never made a small batch. I know you can get them in the can that aren't that bad if you can find them near you. I take it they are nonexistent in other regions of the country?

I just was able to login to TB for the first time in I think a week. First work has consumed my life and then I couldn't get in the new app.

I missed over 500 posts, and I don't think I will be able to go back and catch up on them.

I hope all the M14 mommas are hanging in there and I will hopefully be back on more now.

Well, I feel like he has grown about 4 inches so far. Lol.

I think it's funny that the HL argument got the attention of the girls who now seem to be only on FB. The two sides of the argument need to have a "craft off" and finish the argument once and for all...finally my new pic went up. Forever for new screen name and new pic... FAIL on my iPhone I'm new screen name and no pic on my iPad I'm old name, new pic and old sig...WTF, I GIVE UP.

Im guessing today. No desire to join whatsoever. If just seems like it causes a lot of problems. At least weekly there is a post about some drama, but I don't read into it because I'm not part of that group and don't care to be.
