Thanks for the Q, Lily!!

We do! We are going back to Playa and staying at the same resort we went to for our honeymoon. Technically it's about 2wks before our anniversary so we'll probably go out to dinner or I'll fix a nice dinner at home for the actual day.

Hahaha, this just made my afternoon. :x

I think it would have to be his humping habit. He is fixed, but he still likes to hump clothes/blankets. I gave him one of my old scarves and an old sweater and we keep them on the floor of our closet for his enjoyment. Otherwise he will take our clothes and drag them off to have his way with them.

I started writing it in spring 2010. I finished the first draft that November. Then I rewrote and revised it for a year and a half before signing with my literary agent in June 2012. I did more revisions with my agent, then more revisions with my publisher after the book sold in October 2012. It came out in March 2014. So... all in all, 4 years from the first sentence until the publication date.

Well, I've been around!

I went to college in Boston. In college I studied abroad twice. Once in Ireland and once in Western Australia. I actually was able to complete my student teaching in Australia. It was total cultural immersion because I was the only American at the school and I took over classes teaching English to 8, 9, 10 and 11th graders.

I lived in Baltimore for two years and taught there, too. A very cool city.

If I could live anywhere...Australia was amazing. I also love Paris and think I could live there. I have always wanted to live in a place that is super quiet in the winter, such as Nantucket. I am pretty happy where I live now, though. It is right near the beach but in a year-round community.

@TVLily...I have never been to Canada and we might do a weekend trip there this summer or fall...where do you recommend?

I didn't realize you had also studied in Australia that's awesome! Fun!! If your just coming up for the weekend I'd suggest flying into Buffalo (so much cheaper), renting a car and visiting Niagara Falls, Niagara Winery Region and from there if you want to you could also drive to Toronto it's about an hour-hour and a half depending on traffic.
Out east (PEI/Nova Scotia) or Montreal is also beautiful. I would strongly recommend Alberta/Bc as well but you'd want longer then a
weekend.
If you decide to go though do a post and I'm sure my fellow Canadian ladies and I can point you in some more specific directions!!

Eta: so many typos, mobile bumping can be hard.

Ha! I made this SN when I first TTC and was feeling like I should be as positive as possible, I'm not longer so optimistic about TTC obviously, but I try. In my normal life I'm pretty optimistic most of the time, people at work are always saying that try and put a positive spin on things. Choose to be optimistic is sort of my mantra, I feel like nothing bad can come out of positive thinking. That's kind of cheesey - but true.

I just started the fault in our stars but it's the next one on my list, I look forward to reading it!!

I do love my job. It's challenging and frustrating at times, but SO fulfilling at other times that I think it balances out really well.

I met him online (AIM lol) in 2004 when we were 18! I moved 2.5 hrs south to be with him after 4 months and we've been together ever since

Oh I doubt I make them. We don't have plans for any parties or company for the 4th. I just wanted to share them in case someone else was interested in them.

@rrlh10 I know you are low-carbing it. Any tasty low-carb recipe or creation you care to share? I've been trying to stay mostly low-carb with my PCOS. I'm good about 70% of the time.

@blackbird818‌ - thanks for the question! That's our rescue, Blue. She's part husky and part hound and came in on the Rescue Wagon. We've had her since she was 5 months old and she'll be four in January 2015.

she's a very good pup!

He planned a surprise dinner the night before his 30th to throw me off. We got all dressed up and he wouldn't tell me where we were going. At 1 point I almost picked a fight bc he was trying so hard to surprise me, we took the long route to the restaurant and he had me walking around the city in 4in heels! He surprised me with dinner at a famous fancy Philly restaurant, got down on 1 knee at the restaurant and he's been stuck with me since!

Do you have pinterest? (**DS is my profile pic fyi**) Here is my low-carb board! I don't have any specific recipes that I like, but we love to grill steaks and chicken and eat them for all meals!

We love eating low carb. The benefits are amazing, and we have so much more energy!
