So excited that there's a check-in for this! Hope you all don't mind if I join.
Weeks: 6
Treatment: IVF w/ICSI
Meds Currently Taking: Estrace, Crinone Gel
Last/Next Appt: 7/15
Anything You Want To Add?: I saw the heartbeat yesterday at 116 bpm ! DH is on a trip and I can't wait for him to be home tomorrow so he can see our pictures!!
QOTD: As of right now, considering all goes well with this pregnancy, what are your future plans for children? Will you be trying again? Why/Why Not? We always wanted 2 kids. I'm an "only" child and DH has a brother. But, being an "only" wasn't that bad (lots of perks, actually :-))), and since we're OOP, we might decide to be happy and grateful with this one. Who knows!
*** Siggy/Ticker Warning *****
TTC June 2011 /// RE Jan 2013 /// DX: DH (30) - low morph, Me (30) - irregular ovulation
Clomid cycle March 2013 - BFN /// IUI #1 April 2013 - BFN /// IUI #2 June 2013 - BFN
IVF w/ICSI- Oct 2013 - ER Oct. 15 (10 mature, 6 fertilized)
Meds Currently Taking: Crinone gel, estrace, baby aspirin, prenatal
Last/Next Appt: June 20 was my first u/s to detect viable preg but too early for heartbeat. July 11th is our next u/s. Praying for a strong heartbeat.
Anything You Want To Add?: I need to learn patience. This week and next week feel like they are gonna drag. Nothing to keep my mind busy so u just sit around looking at ultrasounds - dumb I know.

Congrats to all the ladies that graduated! I have to wait until week 11 which is kind of odd to me because my RE is pretty laid back but they do a second U/S at 11 weeks to make sure all is well. 3 more weeks until I'm free to be somewhat normal.
Anyone know if their OB sees you more often with Twin pregnancies? I would imagine so especially towards the end. With a Singleton I guess it's every week from 36-40 but I'm guessing I'll have weekly check-ins way before then.
We had a major scare yesterday morning when I got up to go pee, I was having a major bright red bleed. It looked as if I was getting a period it was that much blood. I had an OB appt. yesterday morning and they said that the babies still look great which relaxed me a ton. Then the bleeding started up last night again and thankfully I had an appt. with the RE and the babies still looked good.
But on a funny note I asked my OB what my official due date was and he laughed and told me not to take my Feb 12th Due Date seriously because I will have the babies no later than late January.

My OB said I will start having appts. more often starting at 22 weeks and I will get an U/S at least once a month until then. But I am still having weekly U/S at the RE until 10-12 weeks.
