I was going to say chevron but I still kinda like it. Just not crazy overdone. I like herringbone better.

Should I stay at work pretending to work, or should I tell people I'm headed home to work, but really go to H&M to buy LO the little vacation white linen pants I saw when I was there yesterday? We leave for vacation on Friday AM at 6:30am, and I WFH tomorrow, so its now or never!

What can I do for window coverings? The windows are 94" tall I think, so they're too long for traditional blinds..I think 3 curtain rods are obnoxious, but one giant one would be too long. What do you suggest?

@jennlin these are our front windows.. They have verticals blinds on them right now (gag) but they were here when we moved in. We got individual faux wood blinds 2inch for them so they separate instead of making it look like one big window. I think FI is hanging them Sunday. It'll look so different! We also have windows on top but I'm thinking of buying valances for them. I'll post a pic when it's done!

If I had a ton of money to spend on them I would have gotten something different, but it wasn't very expensive and I bought new blinds for the whole house

@carawasa the problem with the blinds is that our windows are too tall it goes into custom orders, and I think it came out to 300+ each. So wth tax and all that good stuff over a grand. Not what I was hoping for.

I don't think one long one is too long especially if you split it up using the curtains. Lemme see if I can find a picture..
Like this kind of.

If you want blinds they can make anything custom for a pretty penny. I do like the idea of multiple curtains though.

One of the problems is that there's not enough room above the window to mount the curtain rod. If we do a tension rod, then it would sag in the middle due to weight. If I post on the outer/upper wall, then a curtain would block the heater vents on the floor.

Any workarounds for those?

In the first picture it looks like there is enough space to put a rod without it blocking anything. You want it a bit above the window and to the sides.

Oh shoot. The floor vents. Gah I dunno then! I'm stumped. I'm sorry.
