Not too much of an exciting change in mine. My dad wanted Christina Ann. My granny told my parents if they were going to make my middle name Ann, that they might as well make it my mom's name, Annette. So it became Christina Annette.
My parents couldn't decide on a girl name so to compromise they decided if I had been born with red hair I would have been Karen (somewhat likely) if I had been bald or blonde I would have been Denise (least likely) but because I was (and am) brunette I am Shannon.
My name was going to be Chris, boy or girl, but my Aunt named my cousin Chris a couple of months before I was born and that was that. I think my name suits me just fine.
If I was a big is have been Nicholas. Funny enough, I have a younger brother, and he's Anthony instead.
Same here. If I was a boy, my name was going be Michael Paul. I have a younger brother and his name is Bradley. Mom changed her mind in those few years
If I were a boy I would have been named Peter, after my dad's best friend who died when they were in a car accident together. My name was supposed to be Christie Lee because my parents were huge Billy Joel fans, but my aunt named my cousin Christina, so that went out the window.
I've heard a few names that were kicked around. First I heard was Julia Alexis (that totally didn't happen) and then I heard Krysl (which was my Czech grandmother's maiden name). Never been a fan of the name I actually got, but I'm glad some amount of reason prevailed.

I was supposed to be (and was until they had to finalize the birth certificate) Heather Alexis. They ended up with Heather Ann instead. Same middle name my mom
My mom called me Meagan for the first few days in the hospital. When she found out that there was a 13 lb baby born the same day and named Meagan she went back to the drawing board. Apparently, the big baby was getting tons of attention and my mom was upset that no one was talking about her peanut.

In all the excitement it almost was Valerie Day... Somehow it shifted to a Biblical name.
If I was a boy I would have been Ryan.
