  We've has a busy weekend bbq'ing with friends every night so my guilty pleasures have been: ribeye, raspberry bars, cupcakes, wine, Summer Shandy, slow-braised pork shoulder, chips and dip.... It would take me all of nap time to google image all of those things.

  I had a ridiculous amount of bacon at brunch this morning. And it was the real stuff, not turkey bacon. But it was nice and crisp and delish. Also had a ton of terrible MN wine yesterday at a vineyard. And some good cider at a WI cidery. Enjoying a tall Angry Orchard cider right now. Yum! So... Pork products and booze are my guilty pleasures.

  =D>  I'm so proud of you for eating the real stuff. And I have to agree...all MN wine I've had is crap. We should stick to beer.

  Well, my husband finally broke it to me that he doesn't like turkey bacon either.  After his third refill of bacon at brunch, he said we should buy some "good stuff" sometime.  Illusions shattered.

  I agree that mn wine is basically crap but out of curiosity -- what vineyard? We did a fun wine tour groupon thing a few years ago at chateaux st croix, and visited crofut winery on day on a whim. Fun adventures even though the wine wasn't great.

  We went to Falconer Vineyard in Red Wing. I think the vineyards in Stillwater are slightly better although still not great. Maiden Rock Cidery in WI was good, but only had two ciders left on tap. I think it would be really fun to go there in the fall and same the ciders and pick some apples. Something fun for everyone in the family!
