Might be a dumb question, but is there typically another ultrasound between the Anatomy scan and birth? Is that condusive to your insurance? Just curious if I get to see my little guy again before he's out!
Most pregnancies do not get another ultrasound. However, if as your appointments go on and when they measure your tummy, if it is measuring more than a week smaller or larger they usually order an ultrasound for growth near your due date just to make sure that baby isn't too big or too little.

I am having one next week at 30 weeks but that is only because I have only gained 4 pounds. Even though I am measuring fine and the doctor is fine with everything - she wants to prove to everyone else that everything is okay. I am being seen by a bariatric specialist.
I had one with DS #1 as they couldn't tell if the baby was breech or not from the internal and feeling around. That was nearly 3 years ago, the standard now is to have one around 35 weeks for every to confirm size and position.
Re: 3rd tri ultrasound?
Same here. I think most OBs don't do one unless there's a medical reason for one.
My OB does one at 37 weeks to measure. Insurance covers it generally, he deems it medically necessary to try to avoid delivering an 11 lb baby
