Yeah, I believe Trinity is a name from the Matrix. I liked it before then, though. Luckily it has dropped off the charts for popularity in the past couple years though. I don't hear it around where we live too often, which is good.

Normally I would not do this but I very much dislike the name Henry and I am not at all of a fan of Graham either!! I think they are both bad names ****IMO***** which would be key here. Try some tact woman.

Normally, I would keep quiet if I don't like a name also. But, really Vivian and Charlotte??? You don't think a child would be picked on with those names? If you are going to make fun of somebody else's name, you better have some bad a** names. And you don't.

Hehe, I definitely thought of the Matrix but she didn't ask what we thought she was just excited she picked a name.
And as for Blue some people don't like your names ethier. That's why you're having the kid not them. You push it out your vagina you get the right to name it. I know I would hate to be named Vivian but you like it so that's all that matters. She like Trinity and that's all that matter. It's not like she is naming her Dolly or Cookie. (Very stripper names)
Honey, I'm just trying to help your baby get a good start in life and you're doing her a serious disservice with the name Trinity. It's trashy and no one will take her seriously in life.
while i don't see a need to post how horrible it is... If you plan to tell people your name - do expect to hear some negative comments- not just from nesties- but from family, etc..... people will always say what they think before baby is here and named....
which is why we wait until the baby is born to announce the name- b/c only a true a-hole would say "your cute baby has a stupid name" at that point.

Seriously? How can you judge a person so harshly by their child's name? If the name was Candy, maybe. It's not. Trinity is a very pretty name. My husband and I both have master's degrees, and live in a very nice suburb... and Trinity would be more accepted than Charlotte or Vivian. It sounds to me like you are a SNOB and are trying to give your child a name that would let people think you are in a different social class than you are.

Honestly, I could care less what anyone's name choices are. If they like it, fine. In normal human etiquette land (which apparently does not exist in you upper class society) you reply with a "I like your choice" or "not my style".

We don't share our names IRL before the baby is born either, for the very reason you mentioned. A lot of times people will share with me their name choice before their baby is born, and it might not really be my style, but once the baby is born and you meet them it just seems to suit them.
