Ohhhh, I didn't even think of that! (FTM, much?) I have an adorable bunny outfit with ears and feet - maybe I'll go with that for going home, but use the one I love for pictures. Booooooo, I so had my heart set on that
It makes sense - and it's a really long gown for a wee little one. And why make her so damn adorable when I'm looking crappy anyway? I'll save the cute outfit for when people come visit and I can wash my hair

Girl, I can barely focus and read your posts with that Channing gif. Yum-eeeee!!!!
This is what we brought DS home in. We were team green but I don't have a pic of the girl choice. It swallowed him though. For some reason I thought he would be bigger and bought 0-3 months instead of the newborn size. Nothing fancy, but I love orange so I couldn't help myself.
Since we know the sex this time, my mom gave me the outfit I came home from the hospital wearing. It is a little peach dress with lace and a ruffly diaper cover. I'm packing receiving blankets because I'm worried it will be a little chilly in the air conditioning.
So, photos are not co-operating, you'll have to make do with imagination.
Choices were a NB white all-in-one with a panda face on it and matching panda hat for if it was night or a cream all-in-one with pink roses on it and matching hat in size 0-3 so we had options for size.
At the last second before leaving for the birth center, I felt the need to grab a Gerber onesie (pink stripe with an elephant on the front, short-sleeve and no feet) which run in tiny sizing and look like they might fit a large mouse. No idea why I felt the need to leave the car and go back inside and upstairs to get it but I did.
Turns out she appeared in the early hours and it was hot on the way home, plus she's teeny so she ended up in the hastily-grabbed Gerber and not one of the super-cute, agonized-over suits I had picked out for weeks beforehand.
It's 0-3 months, but my latest ultrasound indicated that she's pretty big, so I think it will work.
I hadn't thought about crabs=Cancer astrological sign - that's so cute! A friend gave me a little crab print outfit at the shower, and now I like it even more.
My son is due mid august so most likely it will be hot but I packed a couple different outfits just in case it's not. I packed a short sleeved onesie my daughter picked out for him and also one of the longs sleeved gowns just in case it isn't hot. My daughter was born end of june and she wore one of the long sleeved gowns home.
My mom ordered this for LO to come home in, took a little while to come in but the wait was so worth it. Since she's unable to make it to the birth, she's been making up for it by ordering all sorts of things for him.
Re: Show me your baby going home outfit
Yep! I do most shopping online

We're probably going with this dragon outfit. Fits our style.
