  I would definitely think you're Greek but maybe only because I am? To me, it's "very" Greek, kwim? I love it though!

  Less so to me. I've heard it before but I think to most people, they might not immediately Go Greek. In fact, I prefer Althea and love Thea! I'm scoping out my Grandmother's family tree for a Greek name we might use in a MN spot--wonder if anyone was Althea!!

  I think I like Althea more than Athena too, and if you love use it...I don't think it should matter on the origin of the name!!!

  I also prefer Althea just because I like it better. I also like Anthea. Both of those names are, to me, more British than Greek, at least by usage, because the only place I've seen/heard them is on shows/books involving the English upper class.

   9/30/14--Off the bench! Unmedicated TI through December 2014
  BFP 12/14/14!!! Beta #1, 12/16: 990 Beta #2, 12/18: Over 2000! Beta #3, 12/22: over 8000!
   U/S #1, 12/23: gestational sac, possible heartbeat
  U/S #2, 12/30: HEARTBEAT! 128bpm, measuring right on at 7w EDD: 8/19/2015
