Hi all!I had been on here very briefly last summer at the beginning of our TTC journey, now that we have officially stepped into infertility territory I feel that this community will be more helpful than ever. We are just getting started with testing EVERYTHING so I'm sure a lot of questions will pop up and i'm already so grateful that there is a safe place for me to pose them!
Here's a little background:
I have a family history of hypothyroidism so symptoms of that led me to get my levels checked again, a few times. Then I was having pains similar to ovulation but throughout my cycle and other odd hormonal changes which is when I went to my OB and she put 2 +2 together and suggested that I might have PCOS. Had an ultrasound which found only one large cyst. I'll be having a follow up on it and discussing surgery. I'm actually looking forward to meeting with the endocrinologist because i'm hopeful that i will finally have some answers as to what in the heck is going on with my body and start to fix it. We'll be doing lots of blood work, semen analysis, and imaging (i'm also going for a lump in one of my breasts) in the next month.
I am going to try my best to stay up to date on here.
Also, wanted to thank the admins of this group for making a point about warnings in posts. It's nice to know others feel similarly when it comes to the varied emotions brought on by others' good news.
Anywho, even though I'm basically just starting all of this, I am more than open to chat with anyone looking for advice or just a place to vent and if anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask.
Thanks in advance ladies!

Me:26 DH:27
Married Oct 2011
NTNP for about a year before actively
TTC since April 2013
Currently testing for infertility cause and hormone imbalance.
Infertility & ovarian cyst diagnosis: May '14
B/W: 'good', more ordered to check antibodies & progesterone
SA: Normal
U/Ss for cyst: who the f knows
DH's cat scan: showed encapsulated fatty growth; u/s: didn't really show much more
Breast Specialist: Most likely a large fibroid, but keeping an eye on it, repeat u/s every 6mos
HSG: clear tubes, uterus is A-ok
WHAT'S NEXT: DH's consult with surgeon to discuss next step for growth, either biopsy or surgery~Big discussion with Dr. before any possibility of starting Clomid, since I'll want another u/s before and to be monitored and he doesn't seem into that. I had to force his hand just to order the AMH test so may be looking for another OB
~All welcome

Re: Newbie Intro
Welcome! Though sorry you find yourself here. Good luck with all that testing! I hope the cyst can resolve without surgery. I had a few lumps that they monitoring for a while, they were fibroadenomas which are benign 99.99% of the time. My mom had cystic breasts, which around 30% of women have I was told, and they are also nothing to worry about. She had a couple removed way back when to make sure and they were all benign. Just wanted to share my positive experience in case you were nervous.
Glad you get to see an RE. We love ours, it is so nice to put these things in the hands of an expert!!
