What will you miss?

I don't normally post much, but I'm an emotional wreck and I'm wondering if anyone else feels this way. I just started sobbing thinking about how much I will miss feeling baby move inside me. There's not another human being in the world that you'll connect with the same way, and I'm already sad about it ending! The trade off is pretty incredible though!!

We've all shared our complaints about pregnancy symptoms, etc. Is there anything you will miss about pregnancy?

The perfect skin I've had for 36 straight weeks.

I hope my freckles stay. This baby gave me a lot of them and I love them.

You are so lucky- I developed the worst case of acne of my face neck shoulders and back that ITCHES like crazy. Someone actually asked me how I got poison ivy on my face

There's lots I won't miss, but I will miss hiccups and having my "built in buddy" (as DH calls her) with me wherever I am. I like that I'm never really alone. She keeps me entertained during 6 hour work meetings and when I'm running errands.

If I really think about it, I will immediately miss my belly being hard. After you give birth it's like having a bowl of jello for a tummy. This summer, I've rocked my maternity suit at the pool, and even had my top pulled up to tan my stretch marked belly. Pregnancy has given me kind of a IDGAF attitude and it's been wonderful.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that feels like this. I'm thankful for this baby but I'm really hoping the post-labor amnesia is true or this kid might be an only child. Haha

I go back and forth between 'Get Out!' and sad it's almost over. Things I'll miss:

-All of his kicks and wiggling.
-The look on DH's face when his hand is on my belly.
-Guilt free snacking.

Can't wait till this kid is out. Now days away from delivering it's really starting to get to me it being my last pregnancy. I sure will miss the hiccups an feeling her thrive in me. :-S

I'll miss all the one on one time I get with DD1, I'll miss getting to be a bed hog, my 'down time', I will also really miss all the imagining of who this little person will be and how they will change our family.

I'm a ftm so I think I'll miss being able to pick up and go with little prep and know he's fine. No extra bags, steps, or arranging sitters and he's still totally safe.

I'm in the club of hoping pregnancy amnesia is real otherwise this will be an only child. I don't even need the delivery to be blocked out, just the months of stress and feeling trapped leading up to it.

I did have one moment when I took my first post partum shower at home. I used to sit in the shower with my eyes closed and just hold my belly. That was my zen place. Now when I do it, it just seems weird, haha.

I'll miss the ninja kicks and feeling his little booty in my belly. I'll also miss seeing my belly rise and fall with those practice breaths and hiccups. I'll also miss embracing this round belly. I've enjoyed wearing form fitting clothes for the first time in a while but am more excited to hold this little squishy! :x

I'll miss the sexiness I feel when pregnant. I've never been more confident in my own skin than while carrying a child. No having to worry if ur gut is showing bc it's all round!

Ill miss how every time I'm naked DH tells me how sexy I am. I know it's his inner man knowing that its his child in me that gets him all worked up lol

Ill miss having an excuse to be lazy!!

Ill miss how special everyone treats u, like "no let me get that" or "do u need help?". Ill miss the way strangers smile when seeing a pregnant woman.

Ill miss the baby hiccups!! My son never had them & this little baby showed me just how magical a hiccup can be

Yea so as u can tell ill miss a lot! It's crunch time & we meet our LO Monday morning & are team green so we are filled with so much excitement it's unreal!!

Like everyone else, I'll miss feeling my little girl move. The hiccups, the flips, the rolls, even the ninja kicks. I can't wait to meet her but sad at the same time that I'll never experience my first pregnancy ever again. Bitter sweet.

I think I'll miss feeling kicks, being able to make my husband take me to Dairy Queen frequently, and I suppose, being a FTM, the freedom that I still have while I have an inside baby?

But I absolutely can't wait for this kiddo to make his grand entrance.

I will miss all of his little movements that I feel/see across my belly and our "playtime pushes" when he back at me. I will also miss the kindness people have shown when they see pregnant me and the random conversations that strike up.

I'll miss a lot... This adorable baby bump, how confident in my own body I am, pregnant sex, his movements, his hiccups, being lazy, long naps with out having to worry about anything, being able to say I'm going to have a baby, definitely his movements I cried the other night knowing I have less than 2 weeks left being pregnant. Don't get me wrong I'm so excited for an outside babe but I've super loved being pregnant.

I agree with missing the movement and the ice cream.

I'll also miss sleep. Even though I'm uncomfortable and sleep isn't all that great now, it still beats having to be awake because a tiny little person won't go to sleep.

I'll miss DS1 talking to the baby and kissing/hugging my belly. I'm excited to see how he is when the baby is actually here but he's been super affectionate this whole pregnancy and it's so cute.

I was going to say absolutely nothing until @Lhalliburton‌ mentioned swimsuits. This is probably the most confident swimsuit season since puberty. Because I also DGAF. everything else about my pregnancies are the worst.

I will miss everyone at work being extra nice to me...I work with a bunch of catty women who kept the cattiness behind my back where it belongs for awhile lol. I also miss eating whatever the fuck I want and not thinking twice about it. But that's about it!

I will miss a lil of everything! This is our last baby! It only gets harder each time they move up a size in clothes and you pack the teeny tiny ones away! Pregnancy is a blessing!

I also will miss nothing. Movement more often then not is physically painful or makes me queasy. I certainly won't miss the insulin or testing or the diabetes diet. I can't move without pain, I can't do half the things I used to be able to, I certainly won't miss the attention and staring.

I won't miss having her to myself because I honestly can't wait to see DH with her.

There is not much I will miss!!! This pregnancy started off ok but the last few months have been really tough. I guess one thing I will miss is all the ultrasounds leading up to delivery. I had so many this time around with twins, that I really think that is one of the things that got me through the rough days/weeks. Being able to see my boys and how they were growing regularly was really cool.

I seriously can't wait to sleep on my stomach again though and now wake up 10 times a night to pee!!!
