HCG LEVELS

Hello I went to the doctor to get my levels checked send the nurse freaked me out because she did that my levels are rising but slowly. I went on a Thursday and they were 179 then I went on a Tuesday and they were 470. I am turn 7 weeks tomorrow. I got back again Monday hoping my levels will rise a lot by then. Hoping for the best. Anyone have experience with low numbers but everything turning out ok. Thanks.

Re: HCG LEVELS

  • Hi there. HCG levels are different for everyone-- but the most important factor about them is that they double every 48-72 hours. I would check out betabase.info. Best of luck.

  • TBH They do seem pretty low for 7 weeks. But the frustrating thing is they are so vastly different for everyone so there is little way to know for sure what is "good". As the PP said, the numbers themselves are much less important then the doubling rate. Best of luck on your next draw.

  • I'm in the same boat. Although, I have no idea when I ovulated because I'm still nursing and my cycle is all over the place. I went yesterday and they were only 143. It's definitely a possibility that im only 4ish weeks. I'm waiting to hear back from nurse but not freaking out is hard.

    This.
This x2. Yeah they're lower than some people's might be, but they seem to be increasing appropriately. Could also be you're a little less far along than you think (I'm not sure if you were charting or anything).

  • With my first my RE said my levels were a little off, though I don't remember what they were. I think the progesterone was really low too. They actually told me they didn't think it was a viable pregnancy..... Welp my DS1 turns 3 next week.

It ain't over til it's over! Those numbers sound good to me so maybe you just aren't as far along as you think. Best of luck!
