I've never thought about it before, but now that I have a three-year-old, a two-month-old and a five-month-old puppy to take care of, I need a little bit of a boost in my day just to have the energy. My husband's a truck driver, so he can't help me as much as he'd like to. When making iced tea, I try to stick to the decaffeinated stuff, and water, but more than often, without thinking about it, I'll grab the regular tea bag, and i won't realize it until after I've poured my glass, It doesn't seem to be affecting my baby, but I don't want to overdo it to the point to where it will start affecting him through my breastmilk. I probably have one to two glasses a day, I don't know how much i caffeine i can even have while breastfeeding.
Re: Second child-breastfeeding-caffeine intake-will my caffeine intake affect my infant?
