Our story with lots of early miscariages and Joy!

Hi!

I haven't told you my story yet so here it goes.

I'm married and we haven't used protection since the year of 2002. I'm 33 years the 14th of July my husband is 36. We have been together since the year of 2000.

We have made lots of doctors investigations, ivf/icsi, adoptions and have two beautiful children at the age of 5 and 8 now!
We have also gone through 18 early miscariages through the years 2005-2013 and the regular doctors can't find the cause of it.
So I found a private specialist and she told me that my mucous membranes were brittle so that the eggs were not fitting properly causing miscarriage.
Me and my husband got a penicillin and accolades to retain next pregnancy.
I've had another early miscariage in October-13.
But then I had a nice plus on a pregnancy test in February and everything looks all good this time, no complications so far at all!! I'm 24 (23+0) weeks pregnant today and I have felt him move since I was in week 11+ and also se movements outside my belly since week 17+.

So that's a bit of our story :-) and I hope no one needs to go through what we have been through, but I don't regret our Journey we have soon miracle nr three and this time from my belly, strange but amazing Journey this time!

Hi! Im so sorry about your miscarriages. I cannit imagine how hard that was but glad they found out what was wrong and now you are carrying! Kudos to you on adopting, too! I think that is great!

Thanks :-) yes It's wery exciting and different this time, and strangely I haven't been worrying to much either this time. Like I knew this time it would result in a baby, but It's a bit left until that though ;-). My husband has done all my worrying instead ;-).

Congratulations on your pregnancy and so sorry for all of your losses - I had one loss and it was pretty tough - so I can't even imagine how difficult it must have been to go through all of that. But a lot of power to you for keeping trying and never giving up.

I've always wanted a big family some how but we wouldn't have managed several more adoptions financially so were really happy for getting the chance of having kids this way also :-) and I'm hoping to get at least one more through my stomach in the future...
