2 weeks ago I hadn't gained any weight. Today I got on the scale and I'm up 3 pounds. I'm only 7 + 4 so I wasn't expecting to gain already. Is this weight gain normal?
I'm up two pounds so far. With my last pregnancy, my OB said about ten pounds total until 20 weeks and then a pound a week after that, give or take, would be healthy for me. I gained 33 total and I'm hoping to stay in that ballpark this time, too!

I am pretty much even or up a pound. I weigh about five pounds more than I did at the beginning of my last pregnancy so that may be part of the reason. I gained 50 lbs last time and really don't want to repeat that.
Please don't stress it. I gained weight rapidly with DD and stayed stressed over it. I wish I hadn't because it was so irrelevant. It could be water because I know we are all very bloated right now.
I haven't stepped on a scale since my BFP. It's a non issue for me right now. There are too many other things to worry about. My doctor never even mentioned my weight last time.

I actually lost 2 pounds, which is fine with me. I'm plus size, and on a low carb diet(basically what a woman with GD would be on) to manage my PCOS. I hadn't lost a pound in weeks, and suddenly I'm down 2.
I'm not obsessing about weight, though. I know how to eat healthily and manage my diet, and the little sea monkey just gives me extra motivation to stick with it.
I am still very early but no weight gain on the scale. However, I am very bloated in my gut! Pants feel fine in the morning and get more snug throughout the day.
Around 2 pounds and I'm at 8 weeks. I know I ate kind of crappy for a few weeks because I was hungry 24\7 and all I wanted was carbs, but since week 7 I slowed down bc of morning sickness and I've been eating much better. I'm also thinking a good chunk of the weight you put on is bloat! It's not impossible to gain 3 pounds in 2 weeks, but it would take eating like a sumo wrestler to get there!! Just keep drinking lots of water and don't stress about it!
I hate that I care so much about this. I didn't really even care all that much about weight before I was pregnant but now it seems like over emphasized topic (gain the perfect amount!!!! And at the perfect time!!!! Not a pound too much or too little)
Plus my eating is all out of whack, I have to eat more frequently and more carb heavy to control the nausea so it's not like I can eat the same healthy balanced meals like before. It's hard to gauge.
I'm up between 4-5 pounds! I stepped on the scale for the first time today. I need to be good to myself and keep remembering there is a human taking form in me, I'm not fat. It's also probably bloat for a lot of us too. I'm only 5'1" on a good day so any weight gain looks extreme.
I gained 3lbs... I dont really think it matters right now.

I have gained 4lbs. But I also haven't been able to go #2 in a few days. I have been eating bad lately and am mad at myself for it. The bloat is not helping.
3# but I only want carbs feeling so sick so I expected it. I exercise daily so thats the best I can do. The first time I gained 38 and lost it in 6 mo so I know it will come off again...dont worry ladies - it's ok, just stay active!
I had lost 5 pounds right away. I attribute it to still breastfeeding LO1 and having to stay active coaching. Since then I've gained 3 of them back. Like everyone else said, don't obsess over it. It all evens out in the end. I think I gained 20-25 pounds with our first.
I haven't gained any scale weight yet. However, I am rocking a noticeable blump by the end of each day so I'm certainly looking a little fluffier than usual.
Yes it's normal. Im 7 weeks today, and over the past two weeks I've gained 5lbs, then lost it all, now I'm up 2lbs again. Its just bloating and water weight. Drink lots of water, up your intake if you already are, and the bloat should dissipate in a few days.
Im down 3lbs.... But honestly im tall and have a lil chub to begin with so my weight fluctuates up/down 5lbs frequently.
My blump is making me look 5 months pregnant no matter what i weigh and ive had to break out the fat pants from before i lost 30lbs.

Weight gain/loss will all depend on you body type. I'm beginning overweight, and so my doc doesn't want me to gain much. I'm one of the weirdos that weighs myself every morning, it just became habit. So far I've lost 5lbs, but with my blump, you'd think I gained 10. Lol. Last pregnancy I lost about 15 pounds, then gained them back plus about 5lbs during the second and third tri's.
I refuse to get on a scale until my first appt on July 10th. I don't feel any heavier, just puffier, lol.

I haven't gained any weight yet. I gained 19 pounds with my son because I lost 4 in the first trimester because of MS and struggled to gain that back. Hopefully I will gain at a steady rate this time around. Very very excited though.
Re: Weight gain so far?
TBH, I haven't gotten on the scale since I got my BFP. I don't want to obsess over it.
