FWIW my doc said spotting is normal post sex or after a vaginal ultrasound. She said the spotting could last up to 3 days. I hope it's nothing serious for all of you dealing with spotting. It's definitely stressful. Hugs to all. >:D<
Add me to the list too. Yesterday and this morning I've had some tan/brown spotting on the TP. I went in yesterday for a blood draw and should find out my levels this afternoon. She told me brown blood is usually just old blood, which I know but doesn't make me feel any better. Once my levels are high enough she said they would also do an early sonogram, but at this early one usually just scares people more instead of reassure them because it's still hard to see some things.
Fx for everyone! It seems like a common thing so hopefully everything is fine. Is it just me or is carrying a baby the most terrifying thing ever??? Men don't know how easy they have it. They just have to "point and shoot!"
Point and shoot...lol! Couldn't see anything on us today since I'm so early. Bleeding has slowed significantly and will get blood work back later today. I'm having a Big Mac and taking a nap. I say we all deserve it!
Well here is some good news! Went in today and saw both beans, healthy, heartbeats, measuring where they should be at 8w3d. Yay! Did get told no sex for the rest of my pregnancy:(

Awe! No sex is a bummer! But at least you know your babies are healthy, that's the important thing! I had brown spotting for a few days starting last Sunday morning, that stopped late last night/early this morning with some very mild cramping (more like tugging and pulling actually) yesterday. I had a small brownish/super light pink spot late last night, but all brown the rest of the time. The tugging and pulling has stopped as well as the spotting, so I am assuming that it was just latant implantation, the baby was probably nestling a little more into my uterus. I was supposed to go get blood drawn this morning, but the lab wouldn't accept my insurance card because it had my hubbys name on it, not mine even though its the same card and the same policy. So.I've called my OB back to see if she still wants me to get blood drawn today and Friday, or if she just wants me to wait the two weeks until my first appt with her since the spotting and cramping had stopped. Waiting to hear back this afternoon.....
*******************UPDATE*****************
So my OB called and said that she thinks I'm fine. She also believes my assumption, about latent implantation, is true about why I had the brown spotting and slight cramping. Even though they were not able to check my HCG levels due to the lab not accepting that my insurance card was in fact mine, thanks a lot LabCorps, my OB feels that I'd be ok to wait until my scheduled appointment in two weeks, and to call back if something else happens. \:D/
As long as it's not red and not a lot, you should be fine. Take it easy and drink lots of water. I had some brown spotting off and on for about five days. My doctors assured me everything was fine. I know how nerve-wracking this can be.
