how quickly I forgot...pumping FAIL

Funny mommy fail story to share...

I am six weeks into my maternity leave so I decided I need to get my butt in gear and start pumping for my daycare and otherwise stash. So I got everything ready, DD finally settles for a nap, and I get everything hooked up and begin pumping. Let down happens, and then I notice my nips aren't being pulled in the horns, no suction, and nothing is pumping. So I frantically look everything over if it's all hooked up, etc. Turn it off, try again. Everything looks perfect so automatically I think CRAP, my pump doesn't work anymore, what am I doing wrong??!! (mind you I EBF/pumped with my son for over a year so this pump used to be my BFF). So I fire up You Tube to watch a tutorial on how to use my pump to see if I am doing something wrong.

So yeah, didn't have the membranes in...forgot about those little suckers...yeah that won't get you any milk outta the tah tahs. FAIL:)
