When did you go into labor?

Also, please feel free to share how "early" or "late" you were and if you have any cervical changes before labor started (effacement, dilation, softening)?

I'm two days post-dates and without any cervical changes, loss of mucous plug, contractions or other signs of impending labor. No plans for an induction yet, just waiting for the little man to decide when he's ready to meet us!

Due the 16th, had her on the 11th. I didn't have any braxton hicks or contractions until the real thing and then they were all in my back. Lost mucus plug and water broke within 2 hours after the start of the contractions.

My due date was the 28th, she came on the 8th. About two weeks beforehand I lost my MP and started having diarrhea. I also started having non-BH contractions here and there. At my OB appointment about 2 days beforehand I was at 1 cm.

Labor started 9 days after my due date and he was born 10 days after. I was 1 cm dilated and only a little bit effaced about 5 days before labor. About 3 days before I lost my MP. Good luck! Waiting on an overdue baby sucks!!!

Was at the mall on June 3 water broke had her via c section 10:05 pm on the 3 rd.

I went into labor and gave birth on my due date with this one. I had been 4cm and 80% for at least a week.

With DD1, my water broke at 39 weeks exactly and I had her that day. I had been 2.5cm and 50% the day before.

Due on the 31st induced on the 19th, had baby on the 20th. I just realized yesterday that he is a Taurus! The end of May through mid June is Gemini but since he was on the 20th that makes him a Taurus. Not that you asked, but thought it was fun to know. Im a Capricorn and Taurus and Capricorns are supposed to have 100% compatibilty on many levels. So looks like were going to be besties, good thing he was early!

Water broke at 41w2d after losing my plug the day before. Labor had to be induced. She was born 12 hours later. I had no dilation or effacement upon coming in.

Ma'kai was due 6/11/14 but decided he was ready to come out 5/22/14. 3 weeks early! The day before I had passed my mucus plug but had read that labor might not start for weeks and that it was normal. The next morning at 5am I woke to a gush. I couldn't tell and tried to see in the dark. Once I was convinced my water broke I woke my hubby who replied there is only a few drops on the sheet. Well that's because I was using his pj pants to catch the rest lol. FYI I decided against the pillow case because I didn't want to stain them lol. I made it to 2 pm before I gave in and had the epidural. Baby still didn't come until 5:27. Turns out he had the cord around the neck and velamentous cord which could have killed him at any point in the pregnany. The nurses all called him a miracle baby. He was 6 lbs 11 oz 21" long at 3 weeks early and has been breaking records ever since

This baby, on my due date (he was born at 1am the next day). My 1st was a day "early" and my 2nd 10 days "late". No clue on dilation, etc. as I don't do internals. I never had signs of labor (like mucous plug) until I was in labor.

Due on the 26th, had her on the 6th. I had BH contractions for several weeks. On May 30 I was 3.5 dilated and 70% effaced. Water broke the afternoon of the 5th and contractions didn't start until I was put on pitocin. 14 hours and one unplanned c-section later, she was here!

Water broke @ 33.6 weeks after 7.5 weeks of contracting, delivered the next day after 12 hours of Pitocin because I didn't make any progress on my own.
I had been "almost 100%" effaced and fingertip dilated for several weeks but the morning my water broke I was 1cm, 100% an baby A very low and engaged.

Started having contractions at 40 days exactly went all day 40 weeks and 40w1d with contractions she was born 40weeks 2 days at 5:01am
