The first trimester sucks. It's hard physically, a lot of great women have already left us, so many are in limbo right now, and most of us feel like crap. It's easy to complain a lot, so what's something good in your life today? It can be pregnancy related or not, big news, inconsequential, whatever. Just make it good!

Squeaker didn't fight her morning nap! She hasn't fallen asleep quite yet, but there wasn't a single cry! This is excellent because she most likely won't get another one at MIL's today because "she just wanted to play all day"

DS has finally stopped crying when I drop him off at daycare. He doesn't love it when I leave, but he's gone from having full melt downs to just a little pout face! Also, Saturday through this morning has been really great with my H. He is finally excited about a 2nd baby and things have felt better between us!

Yesterday morning I had to pin my daughter down to get her dressed, bribe her with applesauce to do her hair, and barely managed to get her shoes on...all while feeling like I could vomit at any moment.

This morning she was all smiles, gave out kisses, sat in my lap while i gave her piggies, and graciously let me put her shoes on. She was a total angel and I was so grateful for it!

I think my hair is in a permanent sock bun for the remainder of my pregnancy. I haven't had energy to fix it.

My mom made me my favorite food last night and just dropped it off for no reason. I am in crab quiche heaven!! Andplusalso half my office is out this week. Its just so nice to come in and have peace and quiet. Its like Im on vacation without having to use PL days. My symptoms have subsided (for now) so today really is a great day!! In my mind the only thing that could make today better is if DH give up the goods later.

I got released from my fertility dr! Had the first u/s yesterday, had yolk sac, fetal pole and heartbeat! He did blood work and hcg and progesterone came back fine! He told me I was free to go see my regular OB and I was released from his care! I made my first appointment, not until July 11th. But to me, the less they feel the need to see me the better! I can breath a little now! One big hurdle down!

I got tickets in the mail to see The Little Mermaid (the musical) yesterday. I totally forgot I bought them so it was a pleasant surprise.

Also, I just found out my SIL and nieces are planning to come visit in Sept. - I haven't seen them since last Sept. and wasn't planning on seeing them until Dec. so that is awesome. Most of the time living so far away from the rest of my family sucks.

AND. My MIL is also coming to visit in 2 weeks. This is a good thing. I like my MIL

I don't feel sick this morning, so I ate two eggs, two pieces of toast with jelly, AND 5 pieces of bacon. Usually, I can't even force down yogurt. So while it makes me nervous that I feel okay (dang PGaL brain!!), I was thrilled to have a nice GIANT breakfast

Something good is that my mom is so excited about being a grandma. I texted her a picture of a raspberry today and she is so excited. We are camping with my parents this weekend so I am excited to get to spend some time with them and talk about this baby.

I'm not normally a sappy person but I feel so amazingly blessed to be where I am right now. Two years ago, we were talking about adoption because I didn't feel healthy enough to be pregnant. Fortunately, some higher power brought the right medical people into my life exactly when I needed them. Each one taught me something - or many somethings, helped me make changes in my life and led me to the next person who could take me one step further.

I graduated from the RE yesterday. It felt so good to see the heartbeat and know that everything is perfect at this moment. Our RE and the very sweet nurse who I had for every appointment handed us an envelope with our records and u/s pictures, shook our hands and said "Congratulations, you graduated!" I felt so stupidly proud, like I was graduating from college.

My first u/s is today--the thought of seeing a blip or a heartbeat from our baby for the first time will make it worth feeling this crappy!

My daughter slept through the night for the second time ever last night. Put her down at 9, she nursed at 6:00, then slept until almost 9:30. It was magical.

I got an adorable new Saint Bernard puppy last night! (I already have a 1 year old Saint) but my mother wanted one from the same parents, so I'm puppy sitting for a couple of weeks until my mother gets to KY from TX!!

I am only pumping once today at work. It's liberating. My supply is tanking due to little blueberry so I am doing 1x a day and eventually none. DD will be one on July 12th.

DS woke up in the best mood today! He let me change him and get him ready for the day with no resistance (unlike yesterday morning which took 30 min.). We went to story time at the library and watching him dance around to the wheels on the bus melted my heart. He was so sweet to my friends 4 month old while we were there too! I just know he's going to be a great big brother!

DD is doing so good with potty-training! And the last two times, she hasn't freaked out when left with a sitter. I took my son to his well-visit check-up this morning and left DS with our neighbor girls and she did great and waited to pee on the potty when I got back.

I took DS to the park for a 1.5 mile walk = 1.5 hrs. We looked at birds, turtles, bugs, fish and lots of squirrels. He is resting and we are going to check out a new playground this afternoon.

We are one day closer to closing on our home and heading to the beach for a week! I treated myself to some online retail therapy and bought myself some skirts and tops to make this bloat feel more comfortable and to get through this summer. I love new clothes!

On my way home from work yesterday, my son (who I was wearing in a carrier) grabbed my hair on either side of my face, pulled my face toward him and gave me an open-mouthed slobbery baby kiss while simultaneously yelling at me. Lol. It was hilarious and thinking about it still makes me smile / happy.

I caught an issue with my car before it turned to serious AND it was covered by warranty. That is a huge relief because a big car repair is not in the budget right now.
