Re: *~Monday Bitchfest~*

  • DH's dog snuck downstairs over night and took a massive dump on the floor. I told him when we took the dogs out the night before that he needed to make her stay out there till she pooed but NOOOOO. So it was then magically my turn to clean up the poop (b/c he cleaned some poop up on Saturday when we got home from vacation}. I do not like clean up freakin crap first thing in the morning. I REALLY don't like clean up crap that could have been prevented in the first place with a little patience. I REALLY REALLY don't like being pregnant, crawling around on the fur covered floor in my nice clean work clothes to clean up the crap. FN DOG and FN DH.

I feel ya, my dog threw up this morning and my husband was in a rush to get to work. He was about to leave it for me to clean up, but I took one look at it and ran to the bathroom gagging. So in the end, DH cleaned it up... if I were you I'd totally throw down the preggo card next time.

FU Hemorrhoids! I've had the roids before, but these suckers are monsters. I feel like I have testicles, Wah!!! I have to shower after every bowel movement if I don't want crap in my underwear. and with this extra fiber intake I'm shitting / showering twice a day. :(( Niave FTM here, so today at my prenatal appointment I find out that I have to weather these monsters until a MONTH after L&D. FML

Right there with you! I also had them before but not this bad. It seemed to be under control and then there they are again. I'm not doing anything differently either so I don't get it?! I'm very aware of what I eat to try and stay regular, I already take 3 Colace a day, drink 100+oz of water and eat tons of fruits and veggies. I just started taking Metamucil too, hopefully it will help some because I don't know what else to do. I know this is normal when you are pregnant but I'm pretty sure not like this! I won't get all TMI but I seriously considered going to the ER a couple weekends ago. So painful :(

I have my 32w appointment on Thursday so Im going to talk to my doctor again. At this rate, I'm terrified of L&D!
I've always wondered what those felt like. I don't think I've had them before because the way I've heard many on this board talk about it, it sounds super painful. Sorry you guys are suffering.

Oh girl, you would know! Sometimes it's so bad it's literally painful to walk, sleep, sit...anything really. I wouldn't wish them on my enemy. Just hope I can get through L&D without any issues. ..I'm scared! :\

So I just need to vent this ridiculousness (I'm going to sound like a total brat I know this but it seriously sent me into full tears Saturday night...)

DH and I got home Saturday night after driving 4 hrs away to pick up a new car we had purchased.  I was probably overtired already but when we got home, we realized that my parents had let themselves into our house to surprise us with new bedroom furniture (an early birthday present).  Which let me just say, it was unbelievably sweet and so thoughtful! They even went the extra mile to set up the new bed and stuff.

Here's my vent... my mom is a little OCD about cleaning and apparently my house was just too messy for her and she cleaned the entire house from top to bottom.  Again, really sweet since lately I've been not feeling great and not too much energy to get those things done myself.  But... she then will run to my brother (she's done this before) and complain about how messy we are and how she had to spend X amount of hours cleaning our disgusting (it's not... just general messiness) house.  Like I don't need to be judged for my house when I'm 7.5 months pregnant!! And my brother's house is always clean because they live in another state and don't have surprise visits.

Ugh, even typing this out makes me feel so ungrateful and bratty but it really upset me.  I just hate feeling judged by someone for something that in my opinion isn't any of their business.  Like if I knew she was coming over, we would've made sure to clean the downstairs appropriately. And furthermore, a married couples bedroom should be off-limits in my mind.  DH shouldn't have to have his MIL in his bedroom - I know I wouldn't be comfortable with my MIL being in our bedroom...
This is exactly why I refuse to let anyone help me clean my house. Especially my mother who is a total neat freak.
We keep bondage equipment attached to the frame of our bed (yes, for BDSM sex). I would pay huge amounts of money to see the expression on my parents' faces if they came to surprise us with a new bed and discovered that. Or, ever better, the in-laws!
Y'all are seriously the best! Just made me feel so much better and that I wasn't nearly as ridiculous as I thought (I'm still a little ridiculous..).  Although I am going to have the awkward convo with my mom/dad in the near future that there needs to be some limits put in place.  But thank you thank you thank you!! Y'all really made me feel better! Love A14 girls!!

@Raclla, I'm pretty sure driving with a toddler on their birthday is a bad omen. Last year we left my ILs' house on my 2 yo's bday (what did he know?) for our 10 hr (pre-kid) drive home. One hour in, vomits all over himself/carseat. On a hot, summery June day. Goldfish and milk vomit, in the car, at least 9 hrs to go. Terrible! I vowed to never drive him far on his bday ever again!
