Need OBGYN in/around La Jolla - AMA

Hi All,

I have Aetna insurance and part of the Scripps group. I am leaning towards delivery at Scripps Green in La Jolla and am in need of a new obgyn. I am 42, expecting my first! Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I don't have any recommendations, but I started with IGO and had a bad experience, so I'd recommend avoiding.

Hi! Scripps Green does not have a Labor and Delivery floor but if you're interested in La Jolla you'd be delivering at Scripps Memorial/La Jolla. I love my OB, he's on campus at Scripps La Jolla, and his name is Mel Kurtulus. He's an MFM so he's a specialist and is super reassuring. His office is also beautiful! Hope that helps

I go to Dr. Anmar Mansour off Genesse on t he 163...I commute from LJ and love her. She delivers out of Scripps Mary Birch (Sharp, FYI)

I'm not sure if it's too far, but I'm with Dr. Christine Brody in Scripps Encinitas. We just moved, so I'm actually commuting from Temecula, but I think it's worth it!
