@ninjacat1 -- my friends and I have a mini obsession with Perth. When we were in grad school and miserable we used google earth to estimate the farthest place on the planet from New Haven, CT. It was in the ocean but the nearest populated city was Perth, so we would fantasize about running away to it. We still joke about going there when we get stressed out or want to escape! Someday I hope we do take a trip there!
@jennyhatt I almost got married at Sturgeon Point lighthouse on Lake. I love it up there. We are going on our annual 2 week vacation to the U.P. in July!!!! So excited.

@Robs Baby Girl I'm assuming that's in michigan?? I love Lake Huron. Sandy fresh water beach. Sandy bottom (where I live). Best sunsets. What won out over sturgeon point?
I managed to miss both those threads! I'm originally from Ohio. DH is from Toronto. We live in Boston. Glad to see all three of these places represented well!
@jennyhatt Yes, It's in Michigan. My FI ended up deploying so we just has a small wedding in Florida, where we were stationed at the time, when he got home. We are taking my parents to see the Great Lakes for the first time. I'm sooooooooooooo excited for them to see that area.
@IHeartScience -- I know. I feel like there are enough Boston people we could actually do a meetup IRL or something down the road! Are you in the city or outside?

I'm outside, but I come in almost every weekend. love the bmb meet ups once we all get to know each other...my July 2012 group is actually where I met my nanny, and it's a great group. Hoping for the same here!
Pregnancy Week 15: You obviously made it to home, congrats! Your baby is the size of a baseball.
My husband has family there. Probably a good chance that his uncle is your OB. Do you see Dr. Albers by chance?!
I do!!! He is amazing!!! He and Dr. Davis are the best. Trust them 100%!!! They have been my doctors since my first. I really can't say enough great things about them. I recommend them to everyone.
I'm from London, in England, though I also spend a fair amount of time in Iceland and Scotland.
