  This is a fun one to resurrect, though!
  
  The only two I can think of off the top of my head are Quizzie and Zelda. Both paternal great grandmothers.

  My grandfather's name was Roderick Upton.. My Dad has a normal FN but MN is Norton. My Dad's side of the family has been here since the 1600s.. and had a "stuffy" New England heritage. Very old fashioned haha

  My grandfather was Francis. He went by Frank. We're considering using it for LO's middle name. I actually really love it.
  
  As for crazy names..I can't think of any off the top of my head. Old fashioned "stuffy" names, sure, but that's to be expected. The only weird (to me!) name I can think of is on SO's side. He has a great aunt named Santa. I always thought it was a nickname but nope. On my side, tons of strange nicknames but not actual birth names, that I know of!
