I don't know yet, but I'm slightly convinced I'm having twins for absolutely no reason at all. Probably because I will go insane if it really happens. I'm mentally preparing myself.
Isn't everyone convinced they are carrying twins at some point? I took my last FRER at 15 dpo, just because. I mean, after all, I had paid for it, right? And the pregnant line was so dark red there was almost no dye left over for the test line. And even though I KNOW that darkness of the line/earliness of the test doesn't really mean anything in terms of twins, my brain still jumped there. :-)
Off the top of my head at least 3 from my checkin group are pregnant with twins.

We shall (hopefully) see at my u/s tomorrow! I think a lot of the twin pregnancies are from IFers. We transferred two embabies, so there's obviously a higher than normal chance for us to have twins.
Funny... I always thought I was pregnant with twins on the first two.
But this one I'm 99% sure is a singleton. I think twins are magical, but my expectations for my capacity as a parent right now mean I'm hoping it's not twins.
I think theres at least 7 or 8 women on here who have seen twins on their u/s. I won't know if I'm added to that number for another 2 weeks. I do have twins WAY up in my family tree, but it hasn't happened for a a few generations so I'm pretty sure its just one, but the thought of having twins would be amazing. :-) I'd be the first to bring twinning back into family tree! But we shall see in 2 weeks :-)
I think I may be having twins! Just a hunch, but my family has been saying it's time for twins in the family. Plus I got a positive pregnancy test 6 days before my missed period and I had just come off birth control! It would be exciting. But a lot to handle I'm sure.
Um, so last week at the U/S they found 3 sacs with 4 yolks. That's right, 2 identical with 2 more fraternal. We are freaking out.
Freaking out is probably and understatement for what I wouldve done.

I think you are right, one day at a time is the only way to go. I'm sure you will see your RE soon, and he/she can help you to puzzle through this incredible and freaky surprise!!

I wish you the best in making those choices. I know what I would do in your situation. Please try not to let friends or family make you feel guilty for whatever you do choose.
@crcostelWed158933 I saw that you are on the if check in here too after I posted my question here. I can honestly say I don't know what I would do in your situation. I wish you all the best on whatever you decide. ((( hugs))) Have you checked out the multiples board here ? I know I saw one poster currently pregnant with triplets.

I saw 1 sac 2 yolks today at my u/s... Only one bean had a heartbeat (I'm exactly 6 weeks).... We will see if little guy #2 comes out of hiding on my follow up in a week!
Also- no treatments for me so, the possibility was not even remotely in my mind. I did however have an extremely vivid dream the other night that I had twins- 1 boy and 1 girl. But, that obviously won't be possible with identical! (DH in a moment of shock asked if that was possible... Face palm)
I've got twins baking... Saw the heartbeats last week ... Another scan this week!

@crcostelWed158933 I am hoping that what ever choices you have to make for your family you find peace with them. My best friend started out with 4 and had to make the incredibly hard choice to continue on with only three. I have no clue how she got through that but I know she looks at her three perfect 6 year olds every day and knows she made the best choice for her and their health. Still takes a day every year to remember the one she had to say goodby too. I wish you the best of luck and health through your journey!

@OmSweetOm I was thinking about you today so happy they saw a healthy baby and hope you get that second one out of hiding next time. And @crcostelWed158933 I am positively mind blown, that's incredible.

Oh my gosh, same here. I got such an early dark BFP, of course the first thing my mind jumps to is twins. Also, there are twins on both mine and DH's side of the family. I feel slightly better knowing that other women convince themselves of twins for no reason too.
@XSweetieO0O &. @Nlavender13 thank you, loves!!! It's been a rollercoaster ride for sure and if this happens, it's doesn't look like I'm getting off anytime soon!!! Lol Who would have thought!!!
