Giving up parental rights

Has anyone successfully had a birth father give up parental rights and had a new husband adopt lo. Im curious of the process and struggles of this. TIA

    There can be a lot of hoops to jump through and im not sure what they would all be. Google your states requirments. Also the blended family board might know more have more.experience with this particular topic

    My cousin was adopted by my uncle and I don't remember hearing of anything extremely difficult. This was like 20 years ago though.

    Nope haven't been through it. I agree with the PP look up state laws and find out what all it entails
